Are you talking about the 4 little white squares in the lower left corner? That is one of the things that is broken and not working at all.

Does the search bar work? Just type in Settings, and it will pull it up as well.

That is also not working. So pretty much its worthless at this point. I needed to print something and it had lost its "APPS" for office 365. Go thru the install process, give it the correct email and password, let it install and then it says its done and nothing is there and you can't open "start" to access the programs on the computer and search is there but you can no click on it and type anything. I wanted to shoot it.

Yea, that is a great "upgrade" you got.

Total brick upgrade.

Well, it is official. I only have 2 weeks at my current job. Boss was not happy. I think they are about to lose a third member of the team as well.

Yesterday was 71 degrees, and NICE. I actually went to the store with no jacket in February.

Today we have drizzle and mid 40s. We were promised some rain and we have .11 so far since last night. Not exactly a flood. It is supposed to be rainy and wet for three days. Probably just enough to keep the streets wet, but no real rainfall amount. A 6 or 8 inch rain over three days would be great.

My brother is the prototypical "analog man" and still does not have a computer. He only got a smart phone as a present from his son several years ago. He does like taking pictures with it, and some of the handy things a smart phone can do. Texting and email is a struggle for him still.

I received this text from him last night. I started giggling and my wife wanted to know what was so funny and asked I read it to her. I just showed it to her as I am not sure I could read it without laughing.

This is what he sent me:

A 100 times more powerful than bicycle I'm eating with a weed inner

Followed by, Close enough, you can figure it out.

Thanks Noah.

We were out without a jacket over the weekend. Of course it was only 38* but it was sunny. Not quite shorts weather though.

Was in the 40s yesterday but we had 50mph winds. Glad it was warm so the snow wasn't blowing everywhere.

Morning all. Dealing with more bad CAD. Some people should just not be allowed to draw.

I'm sure there is and when you find it I plan to use it as a target.

And by target I mean pasted to the side of the tower case. I will plan to use something in the high velocity range to format the drive.

We had a whopping .34 inches of rain yesterday, and it is supposed to rain all day today. We have .04 so far. No flooding yet.

Yesterday for a short time it sounded and looked like sleet, but it was 41 degrees. The weatherman said it was not really sleet, it was very small hail. He said they know that from the radar signature, and the temperatures aloft. It did not matter, it all melted in short order and was just moisture which was good.

In our case, it will be rain followed by snow as it cools off. Should be interesting.

Dang spammers.

I received several spams from what is supposed to be my new Kohl's credit card. As I don't think I have ever set foot inside a Kohl's and have no plans to ever even see what the sell, I just send it to the spam pile. Another was addressed to my business name and had costume made candy, and we can get our company name on it. WFT. Another was supposed to be from FedEx and my package was refused and I need to check out the link to get the package delivered. Yea, right.

I do sometimes fantasize about having a hacker like the TV shows have on staff that can just pound on a keyboard, never once hit return or space, backspace or touch a mouse and in seconds hack into any business, even banks in seconds or find the reverse IP and get into the bad guys computer. To make their personal information public and donate all the money in their Swiss bank accounts transfer to some charity. Less likely than the Swedish Bikini team showing up to buy me dinner.
