Well after several days of just perfect weather, today is back to cold and rainy. My wife has a doctor appointment in Norman, OK today and the rain means she wants me to chauffeur her to and from so she can keep her car clean. Since I have to wash it, I am OK with that. I told her she has to buy lunch!

afternoon/evening everyone. Last day of the week for me. Lots to cram into the last few hours but I think I am done for now.

Dang it, I got cheated of a free lunch. Total habit, I whipped out my credit card and paid for lunch, and we were halfway home before I realized I was rooked! So was chauffeur and meal ticket today for the boss's wife. I will get even and buy some more Erdinger Dunkel on the bosses card!

Think of all the points scored with the boss's wife. She might not have you dig as many holes next spring.

We have our Porsche club Christmas party tomorrow night. I ain't wearing a tux! Just some Docker and a shirt with buttons and my good shoes.

I can attest to Glens quickness with a credit card. I've been practicing my draw in the hopes we meet again.

We had about 10 flakes a few days ago, and that is enough for me for the winter. Give yer wife a hug for us! Jeanette is doing great after her Parathyroidectomy a few weeks ago.

Tonight I get to whip out my credit card to pay for 42 or so people at a high end steak joint. About 75 bucks per head plus a mandatory "tip" of 25%.

The good news for me is everyone has paid for their meal, and the club pays the tip. So I just write a check from the club account to the credit card company. No cost to me at all.

Morning all. Its Monday. Another 4 day week for me. Last Friday night was fun. Went to an event called tinsel on the town. They auctioned off trees with package deals and raised over 800k for the local children's hospital.

We are having another nice weather week. I will have to mow the lawn on Wednesday if I stick to plans. Mostly to pick up leaves and edge the sidewalks. And the dang Fescue is still trying to grow, so it needs a trim.

We are above 50 for the highs with a little rain. Not Bad really.

A few weeks ago, I returned the unused land line telephone to my cable provider, and negotiated a lower bill. The billing month on the old plan passed and I checked my new plan prices and it was $40 higher than before, and my internet speed was cut in half from 1Gig to 500 MB download and from 40 Mbps upload to 10.

That did not make me happy. So I contacted their customer retention department. I have been with them over 30 years, and my bill is paid automatically, electronically.

They decided that since I was a tad upset at the price and performance changes that maybe they can indeed put the internet speed back to what it was, and lower my bill to an acceptable level, or $60 a month less. Bingo.

The speed went back up and the price is down. Win Win for me. Eff them.
