Sorry to hear about Rascal. I absolutely love animals and I almost hate to click on a thread here that brings bad news. Hopefully it went quick for him and he is in a better place.

Did Rascal still have his claws on all four corners? I hope so. No claws is like no guns for humans.

If they are an indoors only forever cat, then no guns/claws is understandable. But if they ever go outside, or have the ability to escape, they need their guns... otherwise they are fast oversized rabbits.

Claws or no claws on Mr. R?

If it's legal...flick your sticks at 'em...these critters need to develop a fear of man.

That picture is disgusting and is a display of someone's disrespect for life.

That's how I feel about it.

If I should squeeze a trigger on one of those Varmints, I'll do it for Rascal...

we lost our "grumpy old man" twister a while back he got hit by a mom talking on her cell phone speeding on our dead end road. He survived the accident but a week later we had him put down because of injuries and he just gave up. we went out when we were ready and got a new little buddy (he's a little crazy) who doesn't make up for the loss of a best friend but makes it ALOT easier.

Pretty much.

Our cat Hobbes died about 2 weeks ago. We have now started looking at shelter cats. It helps - you won't forget Rascal but there is another cat out there who is wonderful in his/her own way.

if a coyote annoys a wolf. the wolf eats the coyote. we have replaced wolves as tthe apex predator. so if a coyote annoys us, we get to kill it.

that's nature.
