Cool, now it's a ninja throwing apple!

But seriously, do they do any sort of testing on this crap before they go into production?

Hehe, that's pretty funny.

Chinese products are horrible. I don't remember ever having any of these problems with Taiwanese or Korean products back when all our stuff was made in their countries.

China has elevated the term "cheap" to new heights.

Why would they want to test it when they're copying someone else's design?

that's good.
I think Michigan has the most dollar stores per capita than any other state.

I showed my son how to core an apple just recently. We used the corer that my mom had when we were growing up. It has to be 45+ years old. All metal and still sharp.

Somewhat off topic, but not really:
Has anyone bought a new vegetable peeler in the last 10 years? All those sideways blades and safety handles make them utterly useless. I know I'm not alone here...

Yup. I have the old steel, extremely dangerous version of that tool as well.

We have that VERY same one. It's worked on countless apples. Never had a problem with it.

I have the goodgrips potato peeler, works great. For sliced apples, I use a handy device I like to call a knife!
