				In Portland Next Week

I'm flying in on the evening of the 29th and leaving early AM on the 31st. Anyone want to meet for coffee Wednesday AM or drinks Wednesday PM? I'll be staying near PDX; however, I'm willing to meet up anywhere in the metro area.

Well, how about picking a time and place now, rather than scrambling at the last minute? I will propose the Moon And Sixpence at 3PM (which is when they open). 2014 NE 42nd Ave Portland, OR 97213 (503) 288-7802 This is 1/2 block north of NE Sandy. For those who don't know it, this is a British pub with a good beer selection and decent pub-ish food, not noisy, easy parking, and darts. I will buy the first round, on condition that there's a second. Thoughts? Especially, from Jim - is this too early?

There you go pushing Moon & Sixpence again Sounds like a plan to me! 3 is too early, I'm still a working stiff this week, but I could be there around 4ish.

4pm is good for me. And I'd buy the 2nd round.

John, I have an 11AM appointment that may last an hour or so, over on the westside. I may have a second appointment over there, as well. The time for that second appointment is still not firmed up. Hopefully, I can steer it to be first thing Wed. morning or very early afternoon. If I'm late (or even if I'm on time) to the pub, a round is on me!

I could easily go later.....5-6pm.....or more. Whatever works for everyone is fine for me. I am bum now with no set schedule.

Yo Josh. I am off all this week and could use some fine British brew. Please let me know what time you all settle on.

Good manners suggest that we allow the guest to choose. Mr. Richards; what is your preference?

I guess we're waiting to hear from Jim R as his plans firm up. For now, I plan to be seated in front of a dark pint at 4PM, as that time seems most likely to work.

John - I'll see you there around 4, unless Jim can't make it until much later. If that's the case, I may head home first to enjoy some kid time, before the festivities begin.
