Want to solve this? Start sacking up to people and tell them, "flying is a privilege, not a right. You will undergo aggressive security screening measures (like they do in Israel) and if you don't like it, here's a bus ticket".

Until then we're just going to look like idiots trying to maintain an "open" system catering to every "sensitivity trained" politically correct idiot out there while A.Q. et al run roughshod over us and our procedures.

Oh, and our present procedures cost a fortune too. But that's okay, we'll just print more money and borrow some more from China to cover it. What's the worst that can happen?

I don't know if you have EVER been close to a pig farm. I don't ever want to get close to one again. I love pork but pig farms make a cattle lot smell like a rose water bath. Just make everyone eat a piece of bacon before boarding. Anyone that refuses gets a full strip search.

Not only was that only for international flights entering the US, it's also already been DROPPED by the TSA.

I flew back last night and saw no exceptionally long lines, no extra security, no one being patted down. The security line took maybe 10% longer than usual, and they actually had someone watching the x-ray monitor as your bags when through. This was in a major airport that was still reeling from holiday traffic and massive storm cancellations.
