I'd hate to die "peacefully in my sleep" as they say. I'd at least like to make the newspapers.

I think when it's my time I'll get hit by a hearse. The sheer irony and ability to make people laugh from beyond the grave would be worth it.

i've done enough crazy **** in my time..could ave died several times over... to much conflict and reaction to the conflict... i don't miss the crazy days, but i don't regret anything either...I'm single, not married, don't have kids... but i got people i need to take care off... i'm much calmer now, much happier... No more unexplainable urges go out and fight agains t normality...

When George B. Shaw wrote, "Youth is wasted on the young"...he was watching the exact same guy.

And he was wrong.

Youth isn't wasted on the young, it is wasted on anyone afraid to be young.

And believe me, I know it hurts to be slow where I once soared...key is to find other old dudes with a youthful mindset and play the sports you always loved.

A friend of mine mentioned, after our weekly basketball tiff, "I still get my rebounds just like I did when I was 20...under the rim."

Or be young yourself. Just don't try to act too young or you'll just look like a dork. The other side of the coin, I see a lot of prematurely old people too. Especially amongst those that retire early . . .

I edited my post...I meant playing sports. There is nothing worse than a 50ish guy trying hard to be hip.

I like to compete...and I'm sure I look like a dork, but not in my mind.

I started to get old in the '80s (in my 30s). Marriage, house, kids. A divorce solved that. How did Dylan put it?

"I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now"
