No offense Sniper, but you a full of shiit in regard to the above statement. Both Toyota trucks I have owned have been 100% trouble free. Get in.... turn key... drive... fill up with gas.... repeat.

Toyota bought back my 100,000 mile '99 4x4 Tacoma as it had American made frame rails which Toyota graciously deemed to be a long term safety issue (mine were still very solid). They gave me WAY more than it was worth and I replaced it with a 100k+ mileage '02 Tundra 4x4 which has also been 100% trouble free. I would not blink an eye at the thought of driving either one across the country at a moments notice. Toyota is moving quickly to address these recent issues and on the whole, I would trust a Toyota over nearly any brand for long term reliability.

Snipe, your hard on for abusing Toyota is getting really tiring. Why don't you go bang some disease ridden tattoed skank to take your mind off things?

Maybe we should start a thread on how the 911 is better than the 928, that would keep him busy for a while.

Becuase i'd rather annoy you with article after article blasting Toyota a new a-hole for being the lousy company that they are.

9 dead Americans because of their brake problems....i'm not backing off anything.

I'm wonder whats going to happend when cars that have the 'fix' start going out of control. What is it really is the electronics, and not a mechanical problem? It will be an epic train wreck.

If that happens, I will get to buy another Toyota for cheap to last me another 10+ years.

I haven't figured out why yet, but I sense some hypocrisy from Snipe about his vehemence in attacking Toyota and repeatedly citing 9 deaths due to their negligence. Also, just like being dumb about our Native Americans' situation, Snipe does not stand on the solid ground of reason in this matter. Don't ask me why because like I said, I haven't figured that out yet.

I feel great, I love mine. So what if it's 19 years old.
