There is some forum around that I heard of where if you start one of these "I'm out of here" threads, you are automatically banned irrevocably and all of your posts are deleted.

Imagine some of the pussies that would disappear from here.

He probably used a term, a decidedly inflammatory term, easy to misinterpret, with a racial connotation, about Z-man's crib. Then he feigned innocence with a flawed rationale leading to a self-righteous exit not before announcing to the world his mysterious departure.

Just my guess, though. I don't know what happened, either.

No, it wasn't about Z's crip, but was proof that Z uses his "Urban" dictionary very selectively.... And Snipe did use the term in proper urban content and remember, he also lives in an urban area...

He isn't banned. Look at the first post in this thread.

I saw the post in Z's thread. Depends on the context as to how to interpret it.

Probably finally got all fed up about the 928 not being an exotic.

Snipes all over the place and not very difficult to find.

People are creatures of habit.

They leave a trail of breadcrumbs wherever they go.

You just need to know what they like to eat and you can figure out where they eat.

OK - FOR THE RECORD -- a couple of weeks ago, snipe was banned for two weeks for using the N-word in a racist context. On purpose. It had nothing to do with his post in my kitchen thread.

The context was he was using the N-word in an 'urban dictionary' definition of the term, and then remarked to a black person, "It's not like I'm calling you a N."

Said person reported the post, and I subsequently banned snipe for two weeks. Note that a couple of months ago, snipe got in hot water for similar types of subtle personal attacks. So it is a given that when someone is repeatedly violating the forum rules, there is less lee-way, less tolerance from the moderators here, myself included.

So snipe was banned for two weeks. I suppose in those two weeks, snipe found himself a 'better' forum, and has decided to move on. He has not yet been banned here on Pelican - and I am hoping that snipe will not leave here in a glorious fire-ball, but leave on his terms without the need for additional banning. And as I've posted in another thread -- perhaps he will return someday and share with us the tales of his adventures out there in the world wide web.

So long, snipe!
-Z-man.
