and then OJU stated "WHERE IN HELLS NAME ARE YOU GOING TO FIND WOMEN WEARING BUTT FLOSS/BIKINIS AT THE TRACK OR BY THE HIGHWAY!"

cars have speed limits , on the highway. cars /drivers get hurt wrecked kilt (killed) on the track.

boats ONLY have WAKE ZONES! aka NO SPEED LIMITS!

it is very simple.....................BOATS/BABES/BEERS=FUN

speeding on highway =JAIL which = NO FUN

wrecking urine p-car on track=lots of hard work. or lots of $$. or extended care hospitals.

the FUTURE IS IN BOATS i tell YA................and PLASTIC SURGERY(BOOB JOBS)!

any moron knows that including ME!

You think a track car is espenseeve? Haa, The $$/hr. to run that boat will make you CRY!

Although, if/when you get it, I won't complain when you invite me to the lake.

hahahaha eric you doubt the sound reasoning of a cum laude graduate (biz/psych) and i was in the coast guard aux with last (2) boats. until my dee-vorce.

nope this isnt insanity or some dumazz hair brain idea. we have been working on this evil plan to take over lake powell for years now.

being a native i know phil bergeron. bergerons marine. used to sell him aerospace tooling for his hitachi seiki CNC's. twice a month or whenever my other boats were there getting worked on it was CASE OF COORS LIGHT FRIDAYS! and we like male bonded about boats and whats a giant PITA a medium PITA and a lil ittsy bittsie PITA. because as we all know boats are a PITA just like p-cars and women. basically anything thats fun is a PITA in general.

but i digress. phil basically gave me this command "dont come in here with anything smaller than MERC 525EFI's and dont come in here with anything BIGGER THAN MERC 525EFI's." wanna go real fast buy a FOUNTAIN! want creature comforts for wifey like air conditioning blender micro wave refrig icemaker(you bet yer azz!) buy a FORMULA!

i have been planning this one for many years now. phil stated service on both drives and engines COMPLETE(oil changed/filters fuel filters, belts, bellows all rubbers, drives drained/refilled with earl, blah blah) $2500 once a year. merc 525efi's are PLUG AND PLAY computerized honda dirt bikes of the water.

yeah i know slip fees and registration and insurance. on the insurance angle i'll just take a HI-PO boat class and drop insurance premiums considerably.

also i will rejoin my old flotilla USCG-AUX 10-11 and get a furthur rate drop.

then i will make it another "operational vessel" with the USCG-AUX and see a furthur rate drop.

will do the shakedown cruise at bartlett for a month or 2. then bring home park next to my bedroom in backyard. buy 16,000 cases of COORS LIGHTS and drag my tool box outside and start on the hit list of crap i dont like. what i cant do it goes to phil.

then rooselvelt for hi speed runs and keep it in dry storage for a coupla months. go thru hit list again at home.....................and then LAKE POWELL for a damn long time it will be there. once again dry storage. since it freezes there in winter i have to drain potty, water tank, engine and drives. no big deal because all 382's come with the drain valves in place for that exact reason.

and i already have a dedicated chev K-3500 duallie built to the hilt for towing duties.

so yeah this is gonna be my 2nd home write off and soon to be wifey is ALL OVER THIS GRAND PLAN TO RULE BRITANNICA/THE HIGH SEAS/and LAKE POWELL!

arrggghhh matey.............the PARROT says "MUCHO BUENO!"

sick huh? dream about it every damn day when its 116 degrees baking my freeking brains out in these hangers.

Someone will offer $150K+ for that car, and they will take it.

It's Maradona we're talking about. There are people who would exhume their grandmothers body and sell her gold teeth for the chance to touch something he's touched. To some, he is God. Getting his car, from when he was kicking into high gear, and get some signatures to boot? Yes, there are fans that would happily pay for that.

A year after he bought this car, he was traded under a 1 million pound transfer. He was 20. A year later, he was traded for a 5 million pound trade. That's not salary, that simply what one team payed the other team to get him.

The silver one yes.... I'd let it go for less... It'd be hard to sell the red one really at any price. There is a strong emotional attachment.

It seem neither the seller or the article writer is good with numbers. "160 TIMES" 3,000 is NOT 320,000.

I have strong ties to my cars but if someone offers me double the REAL value of either they would be sold. It will never happen but if someone really offered you 35 grand for the red car how long would you need to say SOLD!

Glen what would you pay to have your 914 back? You have to keep in mind that this was my first car. I'm not in a position where I *need* money so it would have to be a very large number for me to let go of that car. I've heard entirely too many stories from my dad about cars he wishes he kept.

If some lunatic offered me $35K for my 944 it would be gone in a New York minute. Then I could buy a well sorted 911 and have enough left over to by a similar 944 or dare I say an exotic 928. Hehe.

Yep, but that is as likely as winning the lottery.

The 924 may very well be worth $400k of cocaine left here and there if it was owned by Diego Maradona

Diego also had an F40... Wonder were that is?

I bet someone buys it at the asking price. That guy has an almost God like status in Argentina.
Back in the 80s he was a great player. After he stopped the drugs, booze and women took their toll.

It was good to see him cleaned up and almost fit at the World Cup.
