Because hearing you moan about the same thing time after time is boring and annoying.

Some of us think the early911 reg is a great resource full of good people. As you have explained many many time, you don't - we get it. You don't need to repeat yourself.

Have some nice kool-aid and calm down. I'll ***** and moan where/when I please. Enjoy your great resource. Fine by me. If you haven't noticed, I never post there.

I always found the R Gruppe Credo to be pretentious....their "You don't get it"????? mantra could have been taken right from the Harri Krishna's at the airport. Finally when they started in with their tantrum over a Black Audi spoiling their parade everybody said wait a minute this is BS...

I always used to call them "hard driven Porsche men" whose wives said that they had to be home by 9. That it was a matter of debate whether to have another Latte before they hit the road or not, and that they always planned out their runs according to where all the Starbuxs were located. .

Another fav of mine was the Brit that bought a Sepia Brown 72S...I told him that the Germans being cheap found some left over WW2 brown paint in a shed out back
of the factory and being good Germans decided not to let it go to waste...

Will do, Ryan...You know, I tried to remember a witty post by you...but I just draw a blank. Must be most of what you say is forgettable.

Be sure to say hi to all my old buddies on the S registry for me...tho it seems the ones who really aggravated me kind of left in disgrace quite some time ago. Maybe before you got there?

Tabby...you forgot one motto that is always a good laugh: "No egos allowed".

Witty? Don't worry, I'm sure you will provide enough comedy for us both.

It's all my fault. I forgot Ryan was mentally handicapped.

Wow. Grossly inappropriate - particularly given my family circumstances and those of others on this board.

You're kidding, right? It's been in Istanbul since 2007...creating a lot of animosity towards me from some in the early 911 world.

Ryan, I do believe it was you who was grossly inappropriate...dumping on me from out of left field when I said nothing against R Gruppe or the S registry until you began the dumping. Kind of fruitless, because I really don't give a krap what you or others think...

Here's the old S in Istanbul...I even tossed in the old Watkins jacket...

Here's another pic for you...my "honorary granddaughter" in the jump seat....

To those who don't like ol' pwd 'cause he shipped his '72S to Istanbul, out of the hands of the USA strippers, flippers, and pimps?

Take a number...then stuff it where the sun don't shine!

Great shots of Evren and the car, Paul. He looks very happy with it. I like to think I had a very, very, very small "part" of all of that - is he still running my old Bosch CD box that you had Warren rebuild for him? Or did that go in a different car?

Anyway, the whole early car world in general and our club in particular has calmed down a lot in recent years. It looks like the guys looking to turn a fast (and maybe not altogether honest) buck have moved on to bigger and better things. You know, the guys with no real interest in the cars beyond how fast they can flip them and how much they can make. They're gone. The real core is back to the guys who simply love the cars and love driving the cars.

Oh, and Milt - Chuck has been a member for years. Lot of years. And he sure drives the bejeezus out of that old S... Great guy, and lots of fun to be around.

I didn't/don't care where/why you sold a car. Never said I did.

I expressed my view that I find the continual posts about the sale in reference to comments about the S Reg to be annoying/boring. You, quite correctly, expressed your view that you can ***** and moan where you please.

How you got from there to making a crack about someone being mentally handicapped I don't know.

Actually Jeff, that Bosch unit never reached Evren after reaching Warren...I guess we know the why on that one.

The old S is still running on it's original unit, as far as I know. They don't make 'em like they used to. Along with the car, Evren got spare parts galore. Among them a good Bosch unit, and a spare coil.

I'll always owe Tom a debt of gratitude for exposing a certain fraud who posted on the S registry. I do believe that must have been before Ryan's time, or he wouldn't have been so quick to jump on my donkey. But maybe he was there all along...his posts are so unmemorable.

But frankly, since Tom posted his "Expose", I haven't even lurked on the S registry. No need to....a shift of interests thing.
