I Need a New Weather App

What are you using, and does it work well for you?

The weather apps I'm using on my Droid (google weather and weatherbug) can't even tell me that it's raining right now. They say it's cloudy with a 30% chance of rain.

(and yes, my driver's seat is all wet now)

Don't know what a droid has, but weather.com has a free mobile app.

I've got aeroweather as well. Use it both for flying and just to see what the weather is doing around L. A.

Graham, type, into your phone browser: http://fin.bimedia.net/KOMO/westwa.gif

Save it as a favorite/bookmark/short-cut

I use this all the time. With all the "rain shadows" and convergence zones... it's good to see whats coming.

If you want more zoomed in... http://fin.bimedia.net/KOMO/metro_radar.gif

Generally, I look outside. Sometimes I open a door. Occasionally, I wet my finger and stick it in the air...

Yeah, I have an app for that...

Weather underground, but you'll want to find the most local station to you on one of their maps and set that as your default station.

Predicting weather in Seattle? Yikes. I've been here 8 years, and I predict the weather by looking out the window in the morning. Our weather is very localized, so its difficult to make predictions unless a weather system is covering the whole area. The weather at SeaTac can be completely different from Lynnwood, but most weather reports are for 'Seattle' weather.

You can report that everyday about Sea-Tac and you'll be right 90% of the time...
