Any other R&T classic "PS" photos remembered?

For instance, one I recall is the dog on his hind legs looking at the battery in the engine compartment of some car with his owner and the caption is something like;

Just put your tongue right there, Tuffy, and the fleas will jump right off!

Or how about those Hector Luis-Bergandi illustrations of classic F1 moments; Prost as a Kowala or something and Lauda as the Jackal during their time at McLaren; The cars always rendered beautifully.

My favorite "PS" is from the same time as the one above.

It's a black-and-white photo of two guys driving a Messerschmitt minicar in a race, and the passenger is leaning forward and talking to the driver. The caption says something like, "Hey Fred, I just had kind of a disturbing thought. What if what we're doing is totally meaningless, and the world is actually a tiny drop of water on a much larger planet?"

The look on the driver's face is priceless.

Another fan of Peter Egan here. A high point of one of my trips to the UK was 'finding' the Westfield (fiberglass copy of a Lotus 11) he and Barb drove in an on-the-road story called "East By Westfield" Right across the aisle was Rob Walker's Delahaye.

My favorite PS:
A pic of a VW bus which has been relegated to life as a chicken coop. The caption reads,"'If I ever get out of here', thought the sad little microbus, 'the road won't be a safe place for chickens.'"

Great reading. I dropped my R&T subscription a few years back, but still check out Peter's columns online.

Actually, my Bullitt Mustang had been in my garage for a month or so, before Eagan's column about buying his appeared.

With publishing delays & all, I'm pretty sure Peter Egan bought a Bullitt Mustang before I did.

Is it true that Peter Egan now sports a Mullett?

I miss the Cyclops series...R&T isn't what it used to be, but I still subscribe.
