So Why Not Leak Anything You Want Even If It Isn't True???
Seems like it could be real easy for a wikileak like to publish anything they want and there would be a great deal of people believe it.
Who does the fact checking on these leaks?

Exactly! Doesn't the press take the risk of liable / slander if they print mistruth without naming the source? Why is it different for Wikileaks?

I think it was a TED talk with Assange I saw where he said they're pretty thorough with their fact checking.
Of course I'm sure all news agencies will tell you that.

The other question(s) is: Who has found a false document amongst his releases? Which country has denied any of the documents? There are 250,000 documents, they are being released slowly. They are under scrutiny right now.
If there are false documents to be released now is not the time. They will come later, hidden in a deluge of info. |

Denying the document's veracity may grant them legitimacy. I almost get the impression that people (diplomats, politicians, etc.) are doing their best to ignore it.

I think the top site for the "anything you can make up" leaks is infowars.com maybe followed by breitbart.com

They are re-published in credible newspapers. Those stories have been checked, you can be sure of that.
