More failures in communication.
Maybe i'm just too literal.
Wife calls, "I'm on the way home, do me a favor and start making some rice, we're making Sushi for lunch." K, how much rice do you want? "It's 2 cups water to 1 cup rice, boil it 15 minutes or so" Got it, how many cups of rice do you want? "Add some salt if you want, just a little" K, how much rice am I making? "I told you, 2 cups water to 1 cup of rice" Those are directions. "  "So you'd like me to make one cup of rice.

I can relate... Wife lost her cell while shopping yesterday. She calls (at my suggestion) to have service suspended. She informs me that I need to set her up as an account manager, in order for her to suspend service. I call cell company, get her added as an account mgr and suspend the service.
Me:You're all set and service is suspended. Just call 'em back when/if you find it Her:Why'd you suspend it?!?!? Now I can't call it (from friend's cell) when I'm in the stores trying to find it! Me:WTF? big +1 on what Steve said.
