So again Mr. dont stereotype people, what "type" am I and please tell me where I have lived and my lifes experiences that you can make such statements? |
Goodnight scoe911. SmileWavy
Take the night and think about. When you have something to back up your statements come on back. |

Why seek training and experience if you glean nothing for the effort???? Stereotyping/Prejudice increases efficiency. What makes RAP concerts/events so violent? Because a substantial percentage of the persons whom attend RAP events are parolees/career criminals with violent criminal histories. Further, these people attend these events for the purpose of furthering/protecting an existing criminal enterprise (drug trade). Law Enforcement costs are astronomical at RAP Events as compared to EVERY OTHER event. Do you have any idea how common it is to have "shots fired" at RAP Events??? (the promoters always deny culpability because the shooting "occurred outside in the parking lot." :D ) Where do gang bangers get their guns? Residential burglaries. No other source even comes close. I know hundreds of gangsters and have met thousands of them. However, to say that a person must "know" gangmembers or have "been in a gang" in order to give "insight" is asinine. College Professors seldom have real world experience yet we look to them to educate students in all areas of business, design, law etc. Why should any Pelican need firsthand knowledge of gangmembers and ganglife in order to provide insight??? Scoe911, your an odd fellow. |
Silverwhaletale, first of all purported rap concert violence depends on the "artist" or group performing. I personally like rap acts like Common,M.F. Doom, Talib Kweli, The Roots... rap acts that entertain and educate at the same time.(no violence). Secondly, I said first hand knowledge gives better or more credible insight... you can talk all you want... but have you done it ? Finally, If you think that stereotyping and prejudice serves you well then by all means continue life as you have. Again, people like you cant stop people like me...I'm to focused on trying to stay focused...

Welcome back scoe911
Quote from scoe911- "Secondly, I said first hand knowledge gives better or more credible insight..." This isn't what you said. Go back and read your posts. You said if you don't live there you are "not credable" more of that "people like you" talk. |
wait I missed this:
Quote from scoe911- "Again, people like you cant stop people like me...I'm to focused on trying to stay focused..." Who's trying to stop you. and... WTF does "I'm to focused on trying to stay focused" mean? Ha? You sure your almost a half century old? My 10 year old would make a statement like that. |

You know scoe911 you held your own until post #188 @ 6:09PM about an hour after your previous post. I'm guessing Happy Hour was kicked in right about then.
Quoted from scoe911 "Yeah, I'm talking about you. sliverwhaletale, and a host of others on this board apparently. Ill take you all on ..this will become my mission in life ...to stand up against all "people like you" on this board... " Tobra was right you are itching for a fight. Lay off the rap. Pop in a Marvin Gaye and go sleep it off. Catch ya in the morning.SmileWavy |
Sorry, gotta go!...(for real this time) "Goodwood Revival" on Speed TV...
|
Sweet. Enjoy.
