I have to say, that is probably the uglyist new Mustang I have seem. I love the Boss 302, but I would never buy it at even the list price.

I'm a bit puzzled that this is even a topic for conversation. Dealers have been doing this for years.

I'm not a big consumer, gotta have it at any price, kind of person and don't pay any attention to these things. Doesn't this also happen with other consumer products that some lust after to the extent that they'll throw crazy money away to obtain them?

How is it not just good old-fashioned Capitalism?, i.e., charge what the traffic will bear?

It really doesn’t matter what brand happens to be your kool-aid flavor of choice, that 302 livery is an abomination (the GT3s isn’t much better). Seriously, how could you not be embarrassed to drive around in that car? A shame they felt the need to clutter the exterior of a very nice machine.

I opened this thread thinking, "hey, maybe he's finally posted something that's not about Mustangs..."

Can you imagine paying extra for a PT cruiser WOW.....Jermy Clarkson once said the purchase of certain cars indicates you know nothing about cars and should not be allowed to drive.

I don't have a problem with dealers selling a car at any price if some sucker is willing to pay.

I do have a problem when they mark up a vehicle with a substantial government development subsidies and consumer rebate....like the "Chevy Volt"

They do both drag and road course...much to the dismay of those who prefer one trick pony cars.

Now who's trolling???

I agree 100% on the ugly. Graphics are horrible. IF I were to buy one it also would soon go to a custom body/paint shop to be worked over..."detuned".

Don't tell that to all of the SCCA champions who run Mustangs at road courses across the country.

You need to change your outdated screen name. How about "Mustang Sally"? I don't think it's taken.

But this car is wayyy back in my past. It left here for Istanbul in 2007...I got tired of it. So it was time to ship it to a dear friend who would appreciate it.

I think Mustang Sally is a great handle. It's not like you have a '72S anymore. What's your handle on the Mustang boards?
