I figure there isn't anything I can do about it so I don't get too hung up on it or complain really but I do wish there were more suitable motorcycle days and "open all the windows" days. The cost implications of having to drive every day or take the train plus having to run the heating system now well into May is getting expensive! Heating oil and gasoline are expensive now and I really want to be taking the m/c more and shut off the stupid boiler already!

All in all though it could be much worse... Rain is a heck of a lot better than the alternative and it is helping with the level on my pond, in the swimming pool, etc. I seriously doubt my fresh water supply is going to run out anytime soon...

It seems like for most people around here, every winter/spring is "the worst in history" so I don't get too hung up on it... Weird cultural thing here - like people constantly trying to out-gripe one another about it... It isn't like you can change it now so why waste your energy complaining?

I don't mind the rain really but I wouldn't be disappointed with a good stretch of 90+ degree days either. Or if 40+ degree daytime temps might've decided to show up before... oh... about three weeks ago.

It has been interesting. This week, the weather forecast has been predicting a low pressure trough would slide into the area, each day since Monday.
However, there has been a ridge of high over the Atlantic, holding the rain and ...stuff to our west.
I'm certainly not complaining, I managed to finish the barn I was building.

If it would just hold off for another day, maybe I could get caught up on my mowing.

Sorry for the inconvenience, guys.
