Red face Ouch! My foot

I don't know what happened.
I was sitting and when I got up I had shooting pain in my left foot and couldn't stay on my feet.

I was laying there in pain and then went to bed.
This morning it doesn't hurt as bad, but I'm limping.

No discoloration. Slightly swollen.
It is very tender to the touch.
Left foot on the outside, the bones below the ankle.

I'm supposed to be on a ladder today...

I was working on a shower curb yesterday and was sitting on my feet as I crawled along.
I would get up to make cuts and my feet were numb.

Maybe I strained something.

I didn't hurt at all after work and this is not a new work position.

I am approaching 43, though...

no dice, it is his clutch foot

KT, do what your wife tells you. Ibuprofen will take 600-800 mg 3 times a day to do any good, take it with food.

call me back tomorrow if you are still hobbled

Thanks, Doc!

I'm on ice right now and will take more Ibuprofen, now.
Thanks for the recommended dosage.

Sounds like how my ankle problems started, 2 years or so ago. Same location, same pain, same sudden onset. Hope it isn't that (I had/have gout).

It is a little swollen and there is a bit of bruising.

Still hurts.

I've been off my feet most of the day with a few short trips about the house.
I test it while walking...Nope, still kills.

I plan to take tomorrow off as well, then rest this weekend, too.

I hope it's not gout, but this pain is not in a joint.

I think it's tendon/muscle/nerve related.

Does your foot feel warm/hot in the area you feel the pain?
