Sheesh...I watched the forkin' trial itself, live. Does it forkin' matter which channel I watched it on???

The best part of the verdict? The look on Casey Anthony's face...even she couldn't believe she got off!

you betcha!

Fox News is bad, mmmkay, watchin' it is bad:rolleyes:

they have their share and then some of the current wave of yellow journalism, Hearst would be proud of them, without a doubt.

Even the National Enquirer had the scoop on Mr Edwards philandering ass. Sure they have the "I had an alien's love child" stories too. Like anything, a critical eye is crucial and you should get information from wide and varied sources.

This is not a scientific poll

That was on CNN, I expect each news sight has a poll of some sort. Getting all bent about the quote coming from fox is fantastically knee jerky.

Proud to say I didn't watch a minute of the whole thing, though I had it on in the background because CNN and Fox ran it all the time. How the hell does Nancy Grace even have her own show? A talking cartoon character is easier to take seriously. What losers watch that wench?

LOL, my wife:rolleyes:

I didn't watch the trial at all, but caught the verdict when I turned on the tv.

I've only seen Nancy Grace in channel surfing, but what a train wreck. Between her and her mom (Gloria Allred) I want to puke...

Fox was the one that was quoted here so that's the one I responded to. They're all the same, except the others don't try to tell you they're "fair."

Sad thing is she has a lot of power now and she knows it.
She could be a very wealthy girl within a year and have that good life that she wanted .

It sounds like the Jury believed the defences opening statement and the words of Georges girlfriend. Nothing else mattered.

Fox "News" LOL!
Maybe we should just get rid of the courts and try accused criminals in the non-mainstream media. They, after all, NEVER lie to us, get anything wrong, or fail to tell the whole story. Why trust a jury that spent weeks listening to testimony when we can base our judgment on excerpts selected by Bill O'Reilly?

Thank you for providing such a perfect example of the following:
imagine how dumb the average person out there is, and then realize that 49.9% of the people are even dumber than that!

The entire nation is shocked and outraged by this injustice, there are polls from every source I can think of that tell the exact same thing. Even your mothership left wing sources.

Yet you in your infinite wisdom discount it just because it came from fox. Is it really that easy to program you?

Oh well, it isn't that big of a deal for lots of people. So a two year old was murdered. You probably just consider that a late, late, late term abortion.

I had no idea they were related. Really? Now I hate them both even more and I thought that wasn't possible.

Larry Flynt will send his private jet to pick her up & she'll be the centerfold in Hustler in 30 days- looking forward into her future she will party with Lindsay Lohan who will portray her in the film version of her story- sadly after a raging bender in which she discovers the misspelled words in her new tattoo she crashes her Dale Jr commemorative edition Camaro into the propane tank of her double wide & perishes when the car explodes as she is trying to retrieve her stash from under the seat.

Well, if you had come forward as an Eyewitness, the Verdict would have been different

Unfortunately, that's what our justice system is coming to. If you don't have an eye-witness, DNA, videotape, and/or a confession, perp is gonna walk.

Google: "CSI Effect" theory.

Not true.

Still, should not invalidate your opinion of either.

romad 07-06-2011 07:53 AM

These people don't have a clue what resaonable doubt means........There can be reasonbale doubt if there is no direct evidence AND there could be another reasonable explaination. In this case there is reasonable doubt for 1st and even 2nd degree murder, but there is no reasonable doubt for manslaughter and or child abuse. ***** is walking tomorrow and will be a millionaire by the weekend, and she probably had the dumbest lawyer of all time. Sad very sad

I believe they are confusing "reasonable doubt" with "absolute (no) doubt". I didn't watch the jury instruction, but wonder how well the judge explained the definition of "reasonable doubt"...

Gospel.

"Officer, can you get some DNA?"
"Ma'm, this is only a property crime."
"But, Officer, can you get DNA? I think he touched my door handle when he opened my car door."
"Ma'm, you left your car door unlocked. This is a misdemeanor, not a felony."
"I know that officer, but can't you check for DNA on the seat? I think he had to sit down when he reached for my purse on the backseat."
"Ma'm, there is a 6 month wait at the crime lab for DNA results because of the high number of murder, robbery, and sex crime cases."
"I realize that, but can you get some of his DNA?"
"Ma'm, you told me that the value of your purse was $100 and that there was nothing of value inside the purse."
"But Officer, it seems like you should be able to get some of his DNA!"
"Ma'm, it costs a thousand dollars, per DNA sample. The district attorneys office is not going to authorize that a DNA sample be processed for a $100 petty theft."
"Really???? Why not????"

I wish I had a dollar for every time an assistant district attorney has told me, "We only get the ones (jurors) who weren't smart enough to get out of jury duty."

The entire family should have been charged with Felony Child Neglect likely to cause great bodily injury. The photo's alone, absent any other evidence, of the mom partying while her little girl was "missing" would have been enough for a conviction.

The mom is a lying slimeball who should be executed.

The father (ex cop) is a narcissistic slimeball who should be executed.

I hope that all three of them get exactly what they deserve.

I have seen just about everything wrong about humankind in my 21 years in LE. But when I view the video of that little girl I am just overwhelmed with utter sadness.

I hope that the child was unconscious and never realized that she had been betrayed (and was about to be killed) by the very people who were put on this earth to protect her.
