IMHO if you weren't on the Jury you are lacking the appropriate information to make a call.

NOT TRUE if you had Brighthouse, our local cable co. We had live coverage of the trial every day, no commercials. The only thing we did not see were any pics of the skull. We had access to everything the jury saw and heard and more. In fact, our local station had on demand and you could re-watch every segment. We did not get our info from the talking heads though we would tune them in as well after trial for that day. Can't believe I followed this from trial start. It was fascinating, frustrating, and more watching how the court operates and what the jury knows and doesn't know (what is kept from them by the court).

We had no doubt whatsoever that she alone killed her kid. And we saw the same evidence, ALL OF IT! She lied every single step of the way, her job, about her nanny,where she was, where her kid was, who she was with, was the last person seen with her daughter, had motive, time and a way to transport the kid, plenty of evidence there was a dead body in HER car, location of the body close to the house. She lied to her boyfriend, her other "friends", her family and the cops who were trying to help find her kid. She never spent a second looking for her and it was her family who called the cops looking for her kid, not Casey as the news keeps reporting. Reasonable doubt, none. Her parents loved that kid and paid for everything she had, food, shelter, clothes, toys, everything. Casey paid for nothing. And showed not one iota of remorse.

Casey Anthony's lawyer admits she killed daughter Caylee, investigator says

More than five years after a jury in Florida cleared Casey Anthony in the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, a private investigator claimed the mom's attorney admitted she killed the girl and hid her body.

Dominic Casey made the claim in court documents that went public last month in Casey Anthony's bankruptcy case. He also suggested that the mom paid her lawyer with sex.

The investigator claimed attorney Jose Baez hired him days after police arrested the mom in July 2008. He said, "Baez had told me that Casey had murdered Caylee and dumped the body somewhere and, he needed all the help he could get to find the body before anyone else did."

Meter reader Roy Kronk found the girl's body in the woods near her grandparents' home that December. Dominic Casey also said that before the remains were discovered, Casey Anthony allowed her legal team to try framing Kronk, "to portray him as a murderer and or kidnapper of Caylee Anthony."

The investigator said he quit the legal team in October 2008.

Casey Anthony was convicted of lying to police but acquitted of murder. She filed for bankruptcy in 2013.

Dominic Casey claimed, in addition, that the defendant and her attorney were having sex because she couldn't pay him. "I arrived at Baez’s office unexpectedly one day and once again, witnessed a naked Casey. This time she ran from his private office, through the conference room to the hallway. That night I told her that she cannot allow him to continue engaging in this behavior. Casey told me she had to do what Jose said because she had no money for her defense."

There was no immediate response from Baez or the Anthony family.

Your confusion is a result of summarizing the investigator's actual statement in the article. The actual statement by Dominic Casey states:

“Casey Anthony told me when Caylee came up missing, the back gate was left ajar,” Dominic Casey said in his statement. “Since Roy Kronk was a meter reader for the house, maybe ‘we could say Roy Kronk kidnapped Caylee.’”

The above statement implies it was made before the body was discovered and Anthony was grasping at anything to divert attention from herself. Later, when Kronk did find the body, he became the actual target of the framing effort.

and that attorney.....I could not imagine. What a nightmare. I can see attorney/client relationships happening. It does all the time. Doesn't make it right, and despite most being consenting adults in almost all cases, it is probably unethical. But, I can see how it would happen. Humans right?

but to get involved with someone that you KNOW is badschit crazy from the get go. Someone who killed their young child. And suggest framing an innocent person. Talk about getting involved in a feakin' nightmare!

I am quite surprised we haven't seen her in porn yet I can't see her making money any other way. Either that or some rich guy wants to get his freak on with her. Very sad case their whole family is whacked. If you needed to get a license to be a parent I'd like to think she would have failed miserably. She deserves to be rotting in prison and breaking rocks all day with a butter knife !
