I don't get that.

Probably the same reason someone uses the next urinal to you in an empty toilet....

Hahaha!

There are a lot of people who don't follow the one-man rule.

There was also some butt head with an old Ford truck (mid 80's vintage) that was parked close to the store who had taken 4 spaces. WTF is wrong with people? I know they all suck!!

this happens all the time, when i park my 951 at the grocery store. and my 951 isn't anything special. cracks me up.

Maybe they feel it will deter a break in. Safety in numbers?

Only two? This D'bag needed four parking spaces for his precious...

The parking lot was full requiring people to park on the street because of this considerate soul.

So we can't hunt him down and give a 100 lashes for being a d'bag.

icemann427 10-02-2011 06:34 PM

I didn't...Just crappy cell phone camera quality.

Heel n Toe 10-02-2011 06:54 PM

A tow truck could take care of that d-bag in 5 minutes.

If the owner of the store/mall/lot wasn't willing to have it towed, I bet you could find 10-15 people inside of 10 minutes who would be willing to chip in and pay the tow truck driver cash.

icemann427 10-02-2011 07:20 PM

This was at a golf course in San Diego. I let the pro shop know and they had a golf marshall go hole to hole looking for the d'bag...No one fessed up to it, though. When I saw it I felt like putting a heal into his door. It really pissed me off.

Joe Bob 10-02-2011 07:23 PM

One of those valve core removers are a part of my travel kit...just saying.....

i bet they would have fessed up if part of the golf marshall's spiel was that it was going to be towed in X number of minutes.

Hole to hole? Why all the effort? Why not keep it simple and just call for a tow?

It's not like it could've been a mistake.

Please tell us they at least put a note on it saying it would be towed immediately if he ever did it again.

today at the home depot:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1320896821.jpg

the local home depot seems to attract these folks. that said, a couple of them do have trailers. AND they are nearly at the end of the lot. the one trailer, however, is sticking out into the lane of traffic about eight feet.

Saw this idiot the other night, had I been driving my Burb, I would have parked in the spot..

Baz 12-05-2011 06:45 PM

Well Byron I WAS driving the truck and I DID park it in the space. But I came out before they did so a moot point I guess.....

This person thought their car was "special" at a recent car show

Rick Lee 12-06-2011 06:59 AM

I can almost forgive such parking at a car show, since they often park slanted for effect. But that car doesn't belong in any kind of show except a horror show.

DonDavis 12-06-2011 07:42 AM

Hey look, that T/A is parked between 2 Mustangs. Err, I mean 2 Camaros.

oldE 12-06-2011 09:23 AM

Only once have I tried to inconvenience an inconsiderate individual who parked where they should not have.
Parking one of the dairy trucks at the end of a long day, I saw some one had parked their Camaro in our lot. I backed my truck in alongside the driver's door (less than 6 inches) and when the next driver returned with a truck, got him to slot it in on the other side.
I can only guess the fellow must have opened the hatch and crawled into the driver's seat later that evening, but the car was gone next morning.
I never saw it parked in our lot again. :D

I haven't read all the posts here but I think this jamoke gets the d'bag of the year award. He/she is right on the front parking spots when there were plenty towards the back. It's a nice restaurant I have breakfast at when I'm in New Holland Pa. A lot of older people frequent the place and taking this many spots up front is just plan wrong!

I haven't been around this thread for awhile. 270 posts about taking up multiple parking spots in half-empty lots? Is there no limit to trivia?
