Wow Dueller..... 5'8" - 32"waist - 165-170lbs . Think it might work?

Edit... Just re-read it, I am guessing it would be too big. Thanks anyhow for the generous offer!

I have been in a few of these guy's "garages" looking at their used bombers.... I have never seen such messy garages.

Tim, you have far too many teeth to hang around that crowd....

The good news is that if you win very much, someone is sure to remedy that for you!

All kidding aside, I know a guy that took over operations at a track in so. miss. this fall. Second or third race of the series, the winner of the main didn't report to tech. When he was informed that he was DQ-ed ,he punched the owner in the face w/ brass knuckles, crushing the left side of his face. To add insult to injury, the local PD wanted nothing to do with it, until media was contacted a couple days later that is.
The track(called pike county raceway) had been sitting idle for awhile, and the guy just likes running his dirt car on sat. nite,so he stepped up and reopened it. No good deed goes unpunished, I guess.

Awesome! I spent my childhood following the World of Outlaws around the region with my grandfather, and still regularly attend a variety of races with my father in law and son. Better watch some blue collar comedy to prep.

We all know Tim, even though it's a bomber and the bodywork will get trashed every night he'll still manage to polish that turd.

So how about a design contest.

Tim takes front/rear/profile pics and posts them.

We design his graphics.

Could be fun.

If you need any authentic hillbilly stuff from Alabama, I'd be obliged to send whatever you need to get your career off on the right track!

You need to go here, first of all
Faketeeth.com, we are the Original Billy Bob Teeth site since 1993!
You want one of those HANS things to clip your helmet to also.

No. You wear a helmet that is too big. When Jim "Billy" James grabs it, you slip out and run away.

Just for some info... Not everyone that runs dirt track is some inbred hillbilly. Plenty of well to do city folk that run a few of the tracks around here.

True.... That said, I am likely the only local bomber driver who took his wife to the Toledo Symphony this year.

I grew up near and now currently live in a rural farming community within 30 miles of a large city.... My car radios have their presets programmed to classical, country and classic rock. I can get along with all sorts of people from farmers to engineers to CEO's (unless they are extreme liberals ).

Tim,

I LOVE it! That is a very nice car. Skip the pretty stuff, make it fly.

I had a buddy who raced bomber Fords (not Paul) in Oregon. His rules said if the carb was stock, it was legit. He was limited to a two barrel. Apparently Ford had a very large two barrel at one time. His car breathed much better than most. There were other slight loopholes as well. It has been a long time.

Agreed about the Hillbilly aspect. I have been trying to go to the track in Lebanon for years.

Just get your wife to help you wrench on it for a couple nights. That'll bring her around...

Larry

Every track seems to have different rules..... The place I will race allows any size/type carb, any fuel, any cam, any displacement, any valvetrain, any crank/rods/pistons, any compression ratio, any waterpump, any fan, any radiator, and any power steering pump.

Now with the above stated..... You MUST have cast iron block, straight plug heads and intake/exhaust manifolds. You MUST have mechanical fuel pump. No MSD ignition allowed.

Anything over 400hp is really not needed as 8" max width wheels shod with non-racing tires must be used (cross section of installed tire must be 10" wide or less and no "snow/mud" tires). I think most guys use "Mastercraft" tires at this track.

I will need to buy tires and purchase/install GM "metric" stock upper control arms as the car currently has tubular non-stock upper arms. This will require some fab work to re-install the stock style mounts. I also will need to locate/purchase some cast iron "Ramshorn" exhaust manifolds and fab up/route a new open exhaust. The PO gave me a cast iron intake manifold to replace the aluminum one currently installed.

From scratch built violins to bomber class race cars, Tim does it all.

Would you get in any legal trouble if you called it the Red Bull-****?
