Update:
Wedding is next April in St. Lucia BVI. We're having an engagement party at the house on Saturday, September 15, 2012. The wifey has hired a "planner" who seems OK. the daughter of a neighbor who has 40 acres next to mine. He'll let us use our valets to park cars. Caterers, music, lots of outdoor lighting, expecting about 100 people. Wifey informed me that one of our neighbors is the bass guitarist for a band called "Foreigner" and she is actually thinking of asking if his "band" would be interested in a Saturday night gig, I don't think so. I mean I'm sure she'd be willing to toss them a few hundred for the night, yeah right. I'm putting in 20 curtain rods for some white frilly curtains on the patio cover posts, The wifey doesn't like the spider webs on the underside of the patio cover, so I have to pressure wash them off. She wanted me to rebuild the cabinets on the outdoor bar for the bartender, I told her I'd wash them off and rehang the cabinet doors that are falling off. She wants me to wash all the windows inside and out; its a night time event for God's sake. Open bar, no you aren't invited. I know how you'se boys do with an open bar.

Is there a need for "Dr. Phil" at the wedding? My weekend is available on the 15th!

So it begins. Last night. Party starts in 6-1/2 hours. Supposed to be 105 degrees here today. It should cool off nicely by 7 or 8 PM.
