U.S Justice Department to sue Apple and five others for price fixing e-books.
The U.S Justice Department is warning Apple Inc. and five major publishers that it is about to sue them for allegedly colluding to fix the prices of e-books.

This could be a catch 22. The companies not involved in collusion and price-fixing can now raise prices to what the other guys did and have total plausible deniability. I'm guessing Apple doesn't have much of a lobbying or PAC operation in DC (yet). They certainly will get it up and running after this case, just like Microsoft did after their court spanking in 2000.
