Seems that he just lost his boat to a fire in April as well.

I'm an idiot and I associate with idiots.....but this fuzzbutt is beyond even 'my' tolerance level. I'd put two large cal slugs in his knees and watch him bleed.....

Insurance fire ? Or maybe he got rear-ended by a hit and run Submarine?

Something really not right with his story.

Reading Frank's posts, if I didn't know better, and I would think her was 17 years old.

He's not. He's an older chap.

In person he's not too bad, likes to talk about the car. Online, different dude.

Probably a lot like guys on this board.

Wow I'm really glad I don't have that much passion for a car.

An analysis by an Fchatter:

“ … it sounds like some spirited driving ensued and the Lotus guy cut off the other driver as he came up behind? The P guy probably didn't back off as he thought that Lotus would back down on his lane change/block.
Lotus dude was going for lane 2 five seconds after noticing the P-car in his rear view while going up the ramp?

Any of you locals know that spot? I haven't read the thread in Ferrarichat, but if Lotus dude is saying he saw the P-car in his rear view mirror, is he saying the P-car was already on the freeway, or coming up the ramp behind him?

In most states, you go up the ramp and into lane 1, then check to see if it's clear to go to lane 2.

On an empty roadway, most likely situation is that the Lotus guy sees the P-car in his mirror, but is so busy trying to get up to speed quickly to show off his AwesomeLotus' acceleration capabilities, he doesn't bother to notice the P-car's closing speed and lane.

Or, he did make note of both closing speed and lane, but decided to puff out his chest and try to be the idiot hero.

Oh, well. Ego contests don't end well sometimes... Lotus dude loses.

(Gonna go read the F-chat thread now... should be fun.)

I suspect his insurance company would love to read this part. He describes an unsafe lane change. It is the responsibility of the driver changing lanes to ensure their path will be clear.

So I'm going up the fwy on ramp this morning at 9:00 am and I see a silver/grey Porsche in my rear view as I'm going up the ramp, I signal left as I always do and accelerate through the first three gears up to 60-65 mph I pull into the number four lane and there is no one to the left/behind and no one in front of me so I am in cruise mode as I signal left to make my way to the number two lane at 65 mph when all of the sudden BAM "

I can imagine the 'other guy' pulling off ahead and calling his insurance agent to report some idiot pulling onto the freeway and changing lanes into the front of his car.

I've lived in the area for more than 50 years and the 101 freeway through the valley is never "open road with zero traffic" or "no other traffic nearby". The traffic may be light in the very early morning hours, but it's still there. His story doesn't make sense.

There is nobody like that on our board. They'd be long banned for life. And that's good. I am not offended by strong language usually, but the level of cursing and hostility coming from that guy is pure bile and I would not hang out on a board that tolerates it.

It wasn't the Allen F. / AllenLambo guy. All allenlambo did was say "Karma is a bi***" and post some joke photoshops. The porsche driver is someone else.

I drove a friend's elise last week. The blind spot is pretty awful. You really have to crane your neck to see around the roll bar, which is probably difficult for an old geezer like this Ronin guy, especially when he's locked into the seat by a harness.

I'd bet he accidentally cut off the other guy.
