Which Paul are you speaking to? I was thinking of Sgt. Pepper back on page 1 but did not bother to post it. Bands don't get a free pass just because they are good.

I agree.

But Sgt. Pepper doesn't qualify for "worst dressed," IMO.

Uhhh... Why not? Maybe not the worst, but bad certainly. Maybe one of the worst. (There have been a LOT of badly dressed bands).

Dude, that's awesome. Granted I don't know that particular band's music but the name was familiar, that's where Sebastian Bach got his start.

Awesome IMO. Mainstream America did not think so, though.

While the pictures are funny I'd agree... this is more about fashion than music... how many of you guys have the stones to post pics of yourself from the same era?

From the shape of the headstock I would guess those are Vox guitars.

This thread is HILARIOUS!

I actually saw these guys in "concert" once. They were also regulars on Dick Clark's TV show, Where the Action Is.

Saw the NY Dolls open for Mott the Hoople back in the day too. The NYC audience was a sight to behold...and quite a show all on it's own.

Bowie always had a rather odd sense of fashion.
