Sorry to hear about your accident, Shaun, but I'm glad that you will be released soon. Get well and take care.

Fishcop 08-06-2012 10:22 PM

Tough break Shaun.

All the very best in your recovery.

YTNUKLR 08-06-2012 10:28 PM

Shaun.

Man it sucks to read this. I don't know what to say, stunned by the news. I hope you have a quick and full recovery. Best wishes, Scott

9 pages of hoping Shaun would post here himself, just to check in and say he's ok. Glad the updates are lookin up.

Somehow I missed this over the weekend. At least he is ok. (A definition of "ok" that he previously wasn't aware of...)
And at least it wasn't the Porsche!

Big +1 on that...

Had a part disappear out of my car during a PCA car show and Shaun volunteered himself to replace it and refused to even let me cover the postage. You can't get more 'stand up' then that.
Donated!

Minor update posted on the first post in this thread:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/693014-recovery-fund-shaun.html

This morning Shaun will have another MRI to determine if the bleeding has stopped in his brain. If so, he might get released today. Then will begin the task of rehabilitation. Though he is much more coherent now, his brain is still not fully cooperating and it is going to take time before he's running on all his batteries again.

The fundraising went great last night, and I just hope we can keep this pace up for a while. Thank you all for your generosity. Shaun's Mac laptop miraculously survived the wreck and was recovered, so he may check in here at Pelican soon. I'd like to keep the fundraising totals a surprise for him, so if anyone would like to know the current total, shoot me a PM.

Dave,

Thank you for the update. Man this kind of stuff worries me.

Good Karma thoughts for Shaun.

Wow.... just read this... horrible timing. What does a broken pelvis mean? No walking for months? Wheel chair? Hope someone can help him keep his business going.
