but in the meanwhile all of us PRO GUN individuals, take the fall and the heat for others moronic actions. to the point when some idiot has a gun fall out of his pocket and has a discharge, and WE, RICKLEE and MYSELF are asked if it were us. ha ha spudder /zekey this one backfired on ya.

i dont know about others here, but i personally take gun ownership and having a CCW as SER-IAZZ as a FREEKING HEART AT-TACK-ACK ACK ACK!

its the basic premise of bad guys. they will do what they want when they want, and not give a damn about anyone nor their property feelings lives. and when a honest law abiding citizen suddenly stands in their way, and says "NO NO NO MR BAD GUY" the bad guys get VERY VERY VERY UPSET when they have MET THEIR MATCH! get it "MATCH?" like a "MATCH SHOOT!"

now some of you equate that to being muy macho. which is furthest from the truth. actuality, it is very plain and simple..........i/we ain't taking no ones CRAP here or anywhere. i don't go out of my way to insult/harm/injure/steal from people, but when insulted or worse, i will retort back, and stand my ground . bad guys don't like this/bullies don't like this kind of behavior and get very very very flustered at this. i'm a golden rule kind of guy. and since i carry CCW everywhere/anywhere like many many others here, we are held to a higher degree of atonement. and being an ethical law abiding hunter for all my life even ups the ante as far as ethics. plus i was taught a long time ago, NOT TO CRAP IN MY OATMEAL!

I have wondered, though, if there are documented actual occurrences of a CCW licensee actually preventing or stopping a gun crime or other crime in progress, due to being armed. The main argument for CCW seems to be "armed citizens will stop crimes as they occur" and I wonder if there is evidence that this happens.

That's fine for you.
Take a ride down any interstate highway, 60 miles should do it. Observe the level of competence, care, and courtesy you see. Realize 90% or more of the azzhats on the road can also legally carry a firearm and would treat weapon ownership with as little care and wisdom as they treat their driving. I find it disturbing.

So yeah, I understand and support a right to carry a firearm. I also recognize that there are a lot of people out there who are not competent or careful enough to do it without being a danger to me and I can't always tell the difference before it's too late.
