Strongly disagree. Gun talk, per se, doesn't belong in PARF. Gun Control talk does. YMMV.

carrying BLACK TALONS would be a NO NO because of dumass media B.S. surrounding them. thats why i carry sometimes remington golden sabres. designed also by guy who designed black talons, just NO MEDIA B.S. about golden sabres. golden sabres are KINDER /GENTLEER/HAPPY JOY JOY/GREEN HOLLOWPOINTS! snicker snicker har har.

The ammo of my choice for my 10mm. I stocked up on them years ago..:D
Wow, weird turn of events, turns out his Mother worked as a RN at a assisted living facility, but was let go last month, a friend tried to help her out, but she ended up STEALING from her, and my friend had been threatening to call the Police, then got a call yesterday from the Mother, cussing her out, saying that her baby had been murdered and it was all Loti's fault, that she put a curse on them, so the mother said she would put a Hex on Lori every day, for the rest of her life.. When I told Lori about the armed robbery, pulled up the fb profile, sure enough it was her son, I met her last week when Lori wanted us to hire her for the new store once we get it up & going:eek:..
Yes, the "kids" were ARMED.

Customer kills gunman during Jacksonville robbery attempt | Jacksonville.com Mobile Edition

Quote:

A 57-year-old Jacksonville grandfather stopped off on his way home from work Monday night to fill a grocery list his wife left for him that morning.

But after entering the Dollar General at 1921 Dunn Ave., he was thrust into an armed robbery that ended with him firing his weapon and one of the two robbers lying dead on the floor.

Two unidentified men entered the store about 9:20 p.m., both with handguns, said Lt. Rob Schoonover of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

“One of them had the clerk and one of them was at the front cash register,” Schoonover said.

The manager then alerted the customer to the situation.

“The customer, who had a concealed firearms permit and a firearm, fired at the suspect, striking him apparently two times, killing him,” Schoonover said.

The other robber, wearing a blue bandana and gloves, ran out the front and fled eastbound on Dunn Avenue in a small sport-utility vehicle.

Soon after the incident, police allowed the customer to call and reassure his family.

“We just get a phone call saying, ‘I’m OK, but something happened,’” said the man’s son. “It just sucks that we have to work late and have to carry a gun.”

The man, who the Times-Union is not identifying because the other robber has not been caught, knew well how to use his gun, according to his family.

“He’s always been a marksman,” his wife said. “He shoots in competitions, but this is the first time he’s ever killed anyone and I don’t know how he’ll handle that.”

The store was equipped with video surveillance and the man was being taken in for questioning, but he’s not being charged, Schoonover said.

“The citizen did not get shot, none of the employees were hurt, this worked out good tonight,” Schoonover said.

Times-Union writer Dana Treen contributed to this report.

now that takes the CAKE! cue in twilight zone music !

10mm ARE NICE!

a HK MP5 10mm would be my choice and a colt delta elite.

cant afford a a full auto 10mm and if i bought another spoon(delta elite) i would have to SUPPORT IT!

i think a 10mm colt would be a great choice for a bear spoon after sorting it all out ie. balance blueprint trigger job/ammo selection.

BlueSkyJaunte 08-29-2012 02:18 PM

The Colt DEs are nice. I have a Dan Wesson RZ-10. Once I got it sorted (took a trip back to the factory for that to happen, but that's another story for another day) it has been my go-to for wilderness carry. It's an OUTSTANDING pistol and being in 10mm just makes it better. DW's are put together with a level of precision that should make Colt employees hang their heads in shame.

Hah, found the pic of my RZ-10.

Given your astounding ignorance of all things gun-related, you wouldn't have the first idea on how to make someone.

I had a cop once produce 10 concealed handguns while wearing slacks and a golf shirt and he wasn't printing. He told me to tell him when I was sure he was disarmed.

You swore you would "publicly humiliate me" when you got that information, so you were told to put up or shut up. In the end, you could bring yourself to do neither, and tried to convince us that there was some conspiracy to hide the truth, and that everyone was afraid to talk. It never occured to you that you were mistaken, that the information you thought was there never existed; or if any of that did occur to you, you were just too damn stubborn to admit it. Stubborn ignorance is never pretty, Zeke. Just like in this gun debate.

I guess it is all great good fun to post glib rhetoric, sit back, pat one's self on the back, thinking "I sure showed him". Especially when your equally missguided cohorts chime in with support (cowering pussies unite!).

Dewolf, Porwolf, wdfifteen, jyl dressed for a night on the town:

The fact remains, self defense is one of the most fundemental of human rights and obligations. You guys can go ahead and cower and shiver, hoping that day will never come for you, but many of us choose to be pro-active instead. Please don't try to foist your cowering pussy way of life on us.

Porwolf has now been asked in several threads, on several occasions (by myself and others) to present his "plan". I have yet to see it. Like the rest of these simple minded fools, his "plan" appears to be no more than "take the guns away and it will all be better". How childishly simple (minded). We are still waiting for a real plan, Porwolf.

And, again, we see how the simplistic "just take them away" has worked down under. Violent crime in Australia is well and truly off the charts, with an absolutely stunning rate of growth in the years since most Aussies had to turn in most guns. We covered this at length in PARF within the last year, including how it has become bad enough to where the Aussie government began cooking the books, removing several types of violent crime from the tally in an effort to make it all not look quite so bad. Pretty sad, really, that their cowering pussies have won, and now can't even bring themselves to deal honestly with the fruits of their "victory".

So, by all means, you guys carry on with your commitment to deny yourselves the means to protect yourselves and your loved ones. Cook your books to make yourselves feel safer. Whatever it takes to not have to consider the unpleasant reality that we have violent criminals walking among us, who can and will strike any of us at any time. Try to claim that those of us who reasonably prepare to deal with them should they ever cross our paths "...(you pussies) are so scared of your own shadow you can't leave the house without a gun" if it makes you feel better about your decision to be an unprepared victim. I honestly, fervently hope none of us ever face a violent criminal bent on our harm, but at least I know what my response will be. It won't include cowering, snivelling, and hoping he will go away - to victimize yet another.

Great post. You are the poster boy for the stereotypical gun toting cowboy that the world sees most Americans like you. Hard to imagine what it must be like to be so scared of the big bad world you have to carry a gun to Walmart.

Dallas police identified the man as Todd Canady, 23, who faces a charge of evading arrest and injury to a child.
The shooting occurred about 9:20 p.m. Monday at the Walmart, 9301 Forest Lane.
Canady was waiting in line to check out when he reached for his wallet, his gun fell and went off.
Bullet fragments struck two children and an adult, Dallas police said Tuesday. Canady also was injured. The injuries were minor, police said.
When an off-duty officer confronted him, Canady ran from the store.
After a brief foot chase, Canady was arrested.
Authorities say he has a concealed handgun permit.

Yes...I just don't know how the 10's of miliions of other citizens around the world leave their homes without a gun. We know who the real pussies are.

Well, if the rest of the world sees this American as somebody like Jeff, I have no problem with that.

On second thought, I don't give a flying turd how the rest of the world sees me. SmileWavy

I was parked in my cab and the perp was outside my car window-
