^^^ Intense looking lights. Sort of like installing big and bad Cibie Oscars on the 911. I no longer or 'rarely' ride at night but when I did, had some dual beam halogen with a battery pack like above. Awesome fun for off-road night rides. High lumen but drained the battery pack in 2 1/2 hours or less. I forget the name but made in the early 1990's. Somewhere I have them buried / lost away but will try to dig them out and post. I'm sure the battery is toast after all these years.

Just pulled from the rafters, one I built in the early 1990's. Needs some TLC. DuraAce on a Basso, and now a bit odd to see with the B. Serotta titanium stem.

Penultimate stage of Giro. After crushing the uphill time trial, Nibali rides away from the leading group in a blizzard mountaintop finish. 4 minutes up, he will win one of the hardest Giros in years tomorrow. If Cavendish doesn't finish better than 5th in the sprint, Nibali will take the red jersey as well. My money's on Cav in red by race end.

Friends and I on Amasa Back last year all on Trek Fuel's (the bearded guy in the middle hooked us all up, I'm far left in orange shirt)

On the first trip to Whistler

The newly built gold Fuel EX (foreground) I built to take the place of the black EX (background) I severely dented at Whister. The lesson is to rent DH bikes there. DO NOT ride a CC bike or suffer the consequences.

Where is the bow rack on the bike? Shouldn't you be multi-tasking?

+1000 for Emily

Kinda pointless though as with someone with her skills, looks and determination (finished her 2012 Olympic race with a broken collar bone she got in an endo during the race and still finished 24th. Ooof.) I cannot hang with her at any level. Nice to imagine though.

there is no doubt that i can unload my bike from my truck as fast or faster than she can. wheels touch the ground..all bets are off.

the London MTB route, i hated it. it looked like they got some Disney prop maker to build it. i would love to ride it..but it was so unnatural.

no more pics of pelican guys on their bikes?

Pics Vash???? I thought you were a fattie but you are not. I can't post a pic of my self. Just picture the over weight fat chick (must be over 250 lbs) with the black tights. Oh yeh, let that burn into your brain.

Ultimate Bike Thread. I say she fits in here nicely.

New this year to my Mamasita;
TA (20mm) Front Shock
Chris King F/R Hubs
Stans Arch EX wheels set up tubeless

Amazing difference these have made. Should have done the wheels alot sooner...almost instant engagement.
