I'm trying not to laugh, but there were a bunch of people in Austin last month for the F1 casting.

Producers will pay me and a film crew to travel places and ... wait for it ... get drunk. I plan on doing all of my own stunts.

It will be a blockbuster hit with the Wal-Mart crowd. And that is perfect, because that is where we will be selling our show swag.

Smart people will know to expect a spin-off show called, "Hold my beer and watch this."
perfect. i'd watch that.

I will work for beer. How stable does that camera need to be?

Young, attractive, and trashy, that's been an MTV recipe for reality success for what, 20 years now?

I live in WV
Our Gov sent MTV a letter and asked them to pull the plug on the show. they declined. I have seen a couple of clips from it.
It isn't going to do our state's reputation any good that is for sure.

I'm sure the people living on the Jersey Shore simply love their reputation now.

My show will be completely different. I drive a Porsche. And I'm not in the teen party crowd - more the middle-aged, brooding, functional alcoholic crowd.

Also, I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical. I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical. I bet they don't.

I met my wife on the Jersey shores. She can bring the foul-mouthed, bar fighting element to the show. She'll break a bottle and cut you in a nanosecond.

There's a show close to that now, except the get drunk part, guy goes all over the world to try beer. My wife and I both looked at each other and said "where the hell do you sign up for a show like that"?

I'm surprised now that ecclestone's trashy daughter has bought the Spelling manor that there's not a "reality show" in there somewhere.....

I caught the Duck Dynasty x-mas show. I've never seen it before. Fake or not it was funny.

I have spent many hours (over 500) filming there on many productions, sometimes till 2-3 o'clock in the morning. I have NEVER seen anything out of the ordinary, doors slamming, wailing cries, cold wind brushing by, etc.

A whole lotta hooey if you ask me.
Ditto, I've filmed there lots of times and never saw anything weird at all. And I've been there until 5 AM as well.

This thread made me laugh. First off, if "reality," the shows are edited specifically to create heroes, villains and drama. The producers set up inserts to get interesting comments from the "actors." They stage situations. The camera people aren't psychics. They don't just 'happen to be there' when interesting stuff happens.

On "Storage Wars," I have connections to several of the people... Hester's problem was that people wanted to punch him when they saw him. He had to go places with body guards. He was the villain and got tired of playing the part. Simple as that.

I had a friend approached to be on "Million Dollar Listing." In the contract, they specified that they had total control over the editing and presentation of facts or substitution for fictional story lines. He declined to sign. Basically everyone on "reality TV" has signed an agreement like that.

Oh, and there's a warehouse in SoCal with all the "Overhaulin" cars that are non-functional. And it's more than a few.

Even makes his workers wear it. Evidenty there are plenty of wanna-be's out there.

She's a hottie IMO.
There are inter-web rumors that she used to be a stripper in the OC, can't say cause I never saw her. Kinda doubt it but she has that 'attitude".
Their store is only a few miles from the house. Never been in there but drove by a bunch.

Barry is a rich dude, made a fortune in the produce bidness, he's only on the show cause the producer asked him to provide some comedic relief.

Darrell isn't as stupid as he acts. He couldn't be. It isn't possible.
brandi's not bad. looks like she want s to be in the "in crowd" but a bit too white trash to get in. he looks like a druggie. cant figure out what she is doing with him. i couldnt quite grasp the clothes he wears either. those skinny legs poking out of those baggy shorts. i like it when brandi dresses hot though. we do like like them.
we like when brandi gets pissed at him.

at first i did not like barry, now we think he is cool. love the cars he drives and always surpised at who he knows. loved the one with the drums and going to the drummers house for the police. would like to have seen him play some more.

darrell, could not agree more.

hester must be the simon of storage wars.

there was almost always a "big find" out of all that junk that they had to go get evaluated for it not to be fake.
