Didn't the sniper thread touch this all off? I have strong opinions that would offend others if I went around piping off, isn't that what OT is about? You go in there & drop a shyte bomb, take the splatter.

In fact, the really "creepy" posts and photos were from folks that normally post in OT.

In fact, I already knew that Janet's avatar was her actual photo and quite a bit more personal info via PM...and had argued with her on PARF...but never dreamed of revealing the info or making the remarks that were made here in "nice" OT.

I started that thread. And yes, few do. Of the PARF posters who do not too many post much in the technical forum - exceptions include Scott R. and fintstone, who parenthetically are among the 'best' or most rational posters in PARF whose viewpoints on political matters usually differ from mine. Sammy chips in once in a while in OT, and I am likely forgetting some others.

Perhaps because you are a decent human being? I don't expect to go through life having everyone agree with me or even like me but, I also don't expect to be right all the time. There are good ways to get your point across and bad ways...some make people think twice, others just piss people off.

OT is off topic because the real topics are in PARF.

I find it interesting that I really have no clue in which group of PARFers I fall; the group of really doofus ignore-prone trolls or the wackadoodles.

As such, its a win-win for me.

I liked having you post in PARF...because, although we disagreed...you seemed somewhat open to a different point if view. Many posters choose "sides" and stick to them regardless of the topic.

You know what's worse? Some of my former mommy groups have forums... They take passive aggression and snark to a whole other level. I often used to have to see them in person because it was local so it was even worse.
