It will be a long trek back to "normal", but every journey starts with one step.
Stay hydrated, eat your veggies, and demand a warm pool and a hot nurse for excercise therapy.

Give 'em hell Dueller.

Jim: Will I ever be able to recover from this?

Doc: Yes, with hard work over time, you'll be normal.

Jim: That's good, because I wasn't before!

Get well man!

Just got a call from Jim. :(. He's back in the hospital. Says he started slurring speech and having trouble working again today. They admitted him and are testing I find out if was another stroke or some sort of infection. Ill keep you guys updated as I get more info.

You can beat this Jim! We've got faith in you!

syncroid 03-28-2013 10:57 AM

Just got another call that he CT scan showed nothing new, but they will do an MRI to double check.

tevake 03-28-2013 11:03 AM

Hey, it was the B day party that put him back in.
Hang in there Jim. Think of this Birthday as a rebirth into this new phase of your life. Complete with having to learn to control your body. A lot like the first time , only quicker and with one side all ready under command.

Don't let this little setback, well, set you back. Keep on with your recovery.

Cheers Richard

Never heard of anyone suffering a stroke, being in the hospital for a couple of days and then going out... anywhere. I think rest is in order. Hope things are better soon.

manbridge 74 03-28-2013 05:28 PM
