I don't like driers. They shrink and wear out your clothing very quickly. In my climate, line and coat hanger drying is a no-brainier. I like to hang inside the house too, to bring up the humidity a little.

Wash? Dry? Clothing?

I have been throwing out my clothes out when they get dirty!

Think of the money I will save, I'm going to be rich!

Perhaps this washer/dryer combo unit is worth $1.000,000,000?

If I had to opine, I think the critical factors favoring two devices are throughput (50% improvement with two machines after the first load); efficiency (optimize one for water and the other for heat; life (heat affecting plumbing components).

You are right, Don. Perhaps there could be a hopper for the 2nd load?

They had those in an apartment complex where I was a lifeguard in the 1980's. And the complex was at least 10 years old.

Or you could get two of the all in one units - they are only like $1,600 each...

Or this:

Nothing beats a separate washer/dryer.

This has been done many times, over many years, and by many manufactures.....one of the biggest issues is lint control, but the biggest issue is people just didn't buy them. Believe me in all your appilance dreams much of its been tried and or sold. If there was a market we would make it.

As for becoming a billionarie in the appliance industry, start with a trillion.......sound familar
