Gave Notice, Next Chapter Begins...

Gave notice yesterday - been there 15 years. Interesting ride. I have a few projects that I'm now engaged in that will satisfy the wallet and ego. Interesting being 100% independent now :-)

This shall be interesting...

I have also decided to pull the rip cord. I will retire from the Army after 23 years, looking at next Jan, which will put me at 24.5 years.

The next big decision is determining "what I want to be when I grow up".

Sounds like fun. You will work your tail off, that for sure. Oh yeah, its not just hard, but you will need a little luck too but you already knew that, so best wishes.

Congrats Mike, I have to confess I'm jealous of you and the others here that have fired their bosses recently and are venturing out in their own. I hope to do it myself in the next 2-3 years but we'll see... I just spent almost $1k getting my professional credentials transferred in hope of doing so.

You're a dedicated guy with a good way of looking at situations - you should do just fine. All the best!
