Photoshop. Tripled up the base layer and added a few attributes (multiply and overlay) to get the shadows from the trees and panel gaps to show through

I'll concede that Doug is a better name for it than Charlie.

And the story flowers for Algernon was better than the movie Charly although Robertson did a decent portrayal.
Unfortunately his performance could not overcome the cheap, stereotypical 70's hip Hollywood styling and effects common at that time in movie history.

It is a "cute " car, but expected to see a propeller on the back. Reminded me of the Amphicar.
