F-650 pickup trucks.

i keep seeing one. big, shiny black. it look so intimidating. i see it all the time on my commute. i think the guy is commuting with it. it would take a day for me to wash it. i cant snap a pic of the actual truck but here is a google-pic.

looks like a big gigantic dually. are these custom kits? they have some special Powerstroke in them? it might be the most impractical commuter ever. where do you even buy one?

deep deep DEEP down inside..i want one

Its just a F650 medium duty truck with a bed on it... You can buy the truck as a bare cab and chassis for using as a work truck or wrecker, or anything like that.

International made the CXT for a while that was pretty badass.

Theres also the sportchassis, based on a freightliner. These are made in my hometown.

I see them on occasion pulling a large horse trailer. Usually they have a wrecker on the back or a big box working as a delivery truck.

I might have one just for the heck of it (for a while) if I had money to throw away. I think the first time I saw a picture of one, it was owned by one of the pro basket ball players. Maybe Aaahhnold had one too.

I talked to a guy with one. It had the same motor as my motorhome. A cat c6. He said he gets 10mpg. That's not bad when towing a 18k pound toy hauler. My dad's v10 dodge gets 9.

The Fords use the same cab as a 250 Superduty. The hood is different because the front axle is wider.

I like it, but I'd need a new driveway.

Regular trucks and SUVs have long since turned in to mom-mobiles so I guess this is the next logical progression...

10mpg might be an improvement over my Cayenne TT in bumper to bumper traffic

The international had the option of the DT-466. One of the most bulletproof Diesel engines ever made.
