Your opinion please

First, What to you think of these headlights? Good, bad, too goofy? I think it's not bad for film and very easy to apply even over the 993's curves.

Sorry for the jumbled pics., kinda got away from me.

On another topic. Would like to locate a OEM radio, anyone know which radio would have come with the '95 (late '94) 993. Pictures? I think SW stereo may have them, but not sure of the right one. My car has a pioneer now, looks OK but probably prefer the OEM.

Hoofin`the hounds today on the beach. 23 C not bad for Oct. Often we have snow this time of year.

Well, if there's one thing I always have it's an opinion. Let me ask my wife what it is.

Goofy is my vote. I don't think you need foglights all the time.

I don't think they look all that bad, and I'm sure the local cops would absolutely love them!

Unless there is some compelling reason (IE This is your fog-only driver) the yellow is too distracting on an otherwise beautiful car.

A: The federal Department of Transportation, which sets all motor vehicle regulations, requires that all new cars sold in the United States have white headlights. It does not prohibit you from changing them on your own. However, state motor vehicle ordinances almost always prohibit using any colored headlamps on the road. Only the French persisted in requiring yellow headlamps, at least until they joined the European Union and standardized their traffic laws to match the rest of Europe

My 2¢ - silver reflectors on silver car look better.

maybe yellow lenses would be cool on a summer yellow 911 ...or maybe on black, blue.

I would put them back in clear lenses and put your fog lights in yellow. Yellow lenses are great in fog but when no fog you want those flame throwers shooting out white light down the road when you reach those illegal speeds.

I have yellow H4 bulbs in my 914 lights. I like them. After putting film on a 997 GT3 ALMS car, I wanted to do the same on my Mini too.

IMO! keep 'em.
