I am confused. Karat is the purity of gold. Carat is the weight of a diamond.

That’s sweet Byron, I’m debating rolling the rear quarter lip on my ‘66 Mustang to fit some 16x9 Torque Thrusts I have. Does it work well?

Go slow and use even pressure.

Yup exactly like that. I got it just to test all the jewely i find in the garbage. The gold test kit is a stone you rub the gold on and test it with 3 different acids if it disolves it or not. I havnt found a local jeweler that wants to pay a fair price so if I really want to sell something I put it on ebay.

I have the Eastwood fender roller I tried it on my 330. Being double walled, I couldn't get it to roll. Ended up installing metal flares instead.

If you pay for shipping, I'll send you mine to keep.

Hey - I just discovered the table I picked up (previous page post #1978) is ALUMINUM! Woohoo!

Today's score - 3 wooden benches! Paint job a little on the quirky side - but no rot and in sturdy condition!

I elected to leave the table - lot of gooey stuff on top and it wasn't all that sturdy.

Funny thing is the road I drove on where these were was not the route I was going to take. I forgot I wanted to get gas - otherwise I would have missed this all together!

I ended up getting my gas anyway because it was still on my way home - just had to go back to A1A.....

I got a pretty good price for my X3, but got a steal on the forged M5 wheels and tires. They fit great with a little poke, and the TPMS were working, too!

I used one on my 911. It works OK, if you take your time, don't try and take big bites and be sure to soften the paint a little with a hair dryer or a heat gun to keep the paint from cracking (careful if you use a heat gun).

Truth is, I've used a baseball bat and it can work almost as well if you're careful.

I've successfully used a baseball bat over the years, and recently for another home project, bought a heat gun.
But for $50 I figured I could not go wrong..
A friend and asked me if I wanted to Ruf hat and a few other bits given to him at Amelia (he is a Brother Mason and a Haggerty rep) I said Hell Y3s.

Like I said before, slow and with constant pressure. If you try and muscle it, the top of the fender arch may end up bowing outward. Been there, done that.

You also need to make sure your roller will fit the Porsche bolt pattern. I have an Eastwood roller I bought 20 years ago and used it on my BMWs. However, it would not fit the 5x130 Porsche bolt pattern. I needed to get an adapter for $100, so I used a bat. lol

Correct, which was the main reason why I grabbed this one as it included both.

Solid oak in the free pile; free money, AFAIC

14' (feet!) long, 3/4 x 3" strip of what looks like very good oak. I don't know what I'll use it for, but I know I'll eventually use it up....

Nice score - perfect for shelving on a smaller scale!
