Not a great score but not bad for $50.

^^ Name brand = nice score, Rocket!

Not sure if this qualifies either, but thought $69.99 was a decent price for this 6 cu.ft. poly wheelbarrow, considering what they are going for now.

Picked it up from the Ace Hardware in South Daytona along with two bags of straps (1/2" and 3/4") qty 20 each, and a nice straw hat for working outdoors.

We had an Ace Hardware here but they closed up and then the hardware store on beachside (Coronado) closed up. We still have a very good one in Edgewater, but it's not an Ace with this particular wheelbarrow. I spent a bit of time today going through the entire store.....very enjoyable and the display plan very well thought out....

A freind brought me an old heating oil tank to scrap but it was made of old square tread plate so i cut it up and now have a 4x10 sheet! This stuff is rare. good for making parts for old trucks and stuff.

Whoa Nelly, Michael......that could be the best score ever in this entire thread!

LOVE the work bench especially!

As for me, last week 2 shelf units for free (curbside) on the way to the local mulch supplier. I've already deployed one and here's it's identical twin.....

Was supposed to score some warehouse shelving as well but, the timing didn’t work out to get them before they were cleared out. The move was really stressful, had to be out of the old building by the end of the year..

Bummed about the shelving,,, top notch, wasn’t too big for the garage. Had the heavy mesh shelving instead of using crap particle board.

The bench has a really nice top. For some reason our manufacturing group only wanted the Formica topped work benches.. could have scored some lighting but I’m good on that. Also got to keep a Metcal soldering station that I’ve literally used for close to 20 years either in plant or hauling to sites with me.

This is fun. Feel like I'm the winner of best score? Don't want to go thru all posts but can anyone point out a better one? Still can't believe I pulled this off. This beast would have cost 50K even back when purchased. Was technically new/rebuilt but owner gave up on trying to make it run properly. It had everything(100% complete). Even gave me choice of turbo(K29 or GT35R). Guess which I choose ? Think I saved the CL ad. Will try and find it. Thought it was a joke because things were misspelled and strangely written. Found out his daughter wrote it without him knowing. She wanted money for something to do with their horses. Absolutely nothing wrong with it which is what owner told me. After I went thru it(without any disassembly) only needed some sensor/wiring correction and dropped down injector size. Runs like a champ w/ zero oil leak. Clearly remember grabbing 10k cash and heading out to what I thought had to be BS. Even asking price of 16K seemed low. After agreeing to 10K, his exact words were "I'm cringing at the thought of what this cost to build" but I'm sick and tire of it and do not need it anymore(went to LS setup). It was only the two of us on a Sunday with no way to load it in my truck. He said come back another day. I said there's no way I'm even going to let it out of my sight let alone come back another day. I'll have a few guys here in minutes. We'll load it in by hand. Still pinching myself! Believe it or not my blue 930 is even a better score but it wasn’t a CL ad….

I don't think there is any doubt about your score being the king of all scores, especially to those of us who understand just how much it costs to build something like that.
Congratulations.

Curbside in my Mom's neighborhood again......patio furniture in pretty good condition - no tears in the slings. Little bit of corrosion on the frame - already treated with Ospho.

These are nice because they are the taller ones with foot rests!

Also a table and regular sling patio chair I did not take. The table is at Mom's for now.

OK thanks - there seems to be many variations of bottle rockets so if those are the label-less ones that will be interesting!

Stay safe, brother!

Maybe he likes that particular photo.

I delayed turning from December to January until February because I liked December more than January.....and now I'm on February which I also like better than January.

As for January - no I absolutely wouldn't kick her our of bed for eating crackers...
