^^^ The head unit is sealed on the dash...It's not looking good to tap into that.
There is a 8" sub speaker on the rear deck that I'm planning on splicing into...hoping that works. I will try that.

The head unit cant power an 8" sub and all the speakers. Atleast im not aware of any that can. There must be a small amp stashed somewhere.

On the way to my south beach accounts this afternoon I spot some stuff by the road.
A vacuum cleaner and twin flour. light fixture I did not take along with some frying pans (not cast iron). But did grab these nice strainers, juicer, a Sears and Roebuck 9" aluminum pot with matching lid, and vintage Regina floor buffer - that works! Will need cleaning up and new brushes, natch.

Got this machinists toolbox at a local estate sale for $50. It's in pristine condition considering it's from the 70s.

Crazy Iv never seen these before and found two recently. One yesterday! The first one is a kirby its pink. The one i got yesterday is a GE and it came with all the accessories. 2 sets of scrubbers, 2 sets of flat pads and a liquid waxer kit. I guess im a collector now lol Also picked up snowblower, some bed frames and a dog cage. All this coming home from the local cruise in with my FC Jeep and a motorcycle in the back so I crammed it all in there. Very usefull having a pickup truck it turns out.

Years ago, I used to have a bunch of Irwin quick clamps. I got most of them on various sales. Now when I go to one of the big box stores, the prices seem insane. I also had some of the really good Jorgensen parallel jaw clamps (3' and 4' sizes) that seemed reasonably priced when I bought them. WHen I downsized, I got rid of all of that stuff. Now I need some.
I was in HD the other day and looking at the Dewalts which are what they replaced the Irwins with. The prices seem pretty crazy to me. I was looking around and found a set in the very back, but couldn't find a price tag for that set anywhere on a shelf. I checked online and the price seemed pretty good, so I decided to get them. Apparently, it's an old set that they no longer sell, because instead of paying $34.88 they rang up as $14. It was a set like this. ![]()

My neighbor is cleaning house and has a dumpster out she sets the metal aside for us and we pick anything else we like out. So we already got a couple truck loads of stuff. The best thing sofar is the snowblower and the washing mashine is intresting too. Also got an Ipod and a perfectly good poulan wild thing chainsaw. It was mostly scrap metal but we grabbed alot of stuff just for the local church they are having a free sale in a few weeks so really just saving good stuff from the dumpster. I should have got a pic of the loaded truck.

Craigslist and Garage sale scores!

When we moved my parents out of their ranch, I sold an old washer for them. They were going to toss it into the dumpster since it was there when they moved in. I knew someone would use it for something similar to the one we found in a trash heap used for the ranch since the late 1800’s. Our washer has been a water fountain for twenty plus years. Anyway, the guy that bought the old washer paid $80 for it and this is what he turned it into… ![]() ![]() I thought it was a cool way to repurpose an old washer. Today, I picked up a new, still in the box MQ Multiquip Mikasa vibraplate. Getting tired of renting one for our big block project. Have many uses on the property and might start a side hustle by renting it out on weekends. Listed on FB marketplace for $1800.00, offered $1400.00 and sold for $1500.00. This one sells for $2690.00 so I felt it was decent deal for a never used piece of equipment. ![]() Took it out of the box and off of the wooden pallet for ease of transport. I will be ordering a water tank for it some time in the future. Ok, I couldn’t help myself and had WhiteCap order the OEM water tank… ![]() ![]() Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
