Wow, nice score.

Thanks, I quite like it. Damn cat is weighing in at 5,334 grams. Welterweight fighter, maybe even light heavyweight.

I bought it off a bakery. I'm guessing they had to spend the dough and buy a new one.

Got a fun 14,000 mile Yamaha 2005 FZ6 locally. Guy was asking $2000. Got it for $1500 including side bags and Yamaha jacket and pants. Feeling lucky.

Nice!
Make sure that someone didn't scare the crap out of him while riding before you try the pants! ;)

seafeye 09-03-2019 05:38 PM

Well it was ridden in Atlanta...

Probably the worst place I can think of riding a bike.

Yard sale down the road. Rudder that looks like a piper to me and a couple lights probably off a bulldozer. $30 total.

Had a good score at the scrap yard yesterday. An older fella was having trouble navigating where to dump his load my brother looked in the trailer and said this isnt scrap! We offered to buy the load for $40. and met outside the gate. He was cleaning out his deceased brothers shop. Probably a dozen buckets of treasures mostly bolts and hardware stuff but lots of tools mixed in and a few hotrod parts. Many snap-on tools easily a grand worth of stuff. My brother took most of that but I also got a Caterpillar engine load leveler. I didnt see any like it online but otc brand ones are north of $1,600 so I think I can get 1k for it.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1570329460.JPG

Wow! That is a huge score! You are winning the tread this year!

Was looking back to the Original Poster of this thread, Futuresoptions.
Haven't seen him around for some time. What happened to him, anyone know?

I got these on Friday. 8 pieces of 3/4" plywood, 17" x 42" with a 1" x 2" nosing. They were headed for the dumpster but I was able to intervene. I could have taken about 20 more but just did't need them. I'll use them for shelves. SmileWavy

Axis 12 in deli slicer. Free on local CL, not running. Had it going within 5 minutes of getting it home, thermal breaker was cooked. Bypassed for now, not needed in a home environment. $10 part ordered.

These things are 1k new and 500 used. You wouldn't think you needed one until you have one. Have chefmate I already had bought and rebuilt for sale on cl and ebay now.

To surprise I landed this vintage Korg Z1 in pristine condition off of our neighborhood buy nothing board. My son and I have really been having fun with it.

I have a couple patio chairs I picked up a year ago for free. Very well built and kinda high-end variety, but the weak design link is the swivel base that tends to collect water and rust. There are companies that make a replacement part out of aluminum but that part runs around $50, so I was thinking I wonder if I could just find a used chair for less than that and slavage to get the part I needed.

Looking on CL today I found a whole set of 4 for $80. and the seller told me if I came tomorrow she'd knock $10 off. I should be able to remove the swivel base I need but am not worried about it because these chairs just left alone pretty much duplicate what I had before.

From the CL ad - note the pic showing the swivel base design in the second pic:

My grandparents used to have furniture that looks like it could have been the same manufacturer in their sun room many years ago on the Gulf coast of FL.

Hahahaha.

Chances are, once the cops arrive, the blue hairs will have forgotten why they called them.

:D:D Well, it is Florida so you do have a valid point.
