Wow! You stole that Monarch. It's good to see deals like that are still out there.

It was in Kilgore, TX. I work in Belize, but live in Lake Jackson so about an 8 hour round trip. Right place right time situation. None of the tooling was in the ad. A steady rest goes for $500 on eBay. The Hardinge collet set and chuck is $700-$1,000.

We started a renovation project at work recently. I was able salvage these upper cabinets from being tossed in the dumpster. They are 100% plywood, plastic lam fronts, a total of 14 lineal feet x 36"tall. Three of them are 10" inside depth and three are 13 3/4" deep. The doors open a full 180 degrees. They will go PERFECT in my new shop. ;)

Walker diesel mower w/ 324 hours. Needs a deck repair after the collection blower failed and the PO thought removing a deck side section would turn it into a side discharge mower. However, the blades counter-rotate toward the center. Fail.

Purchased for about 15% of a new mower price but needs repairs of above.

Score!
Kind of dark but for price, throwing some nice non light sucking paint on them will help keep the shop nice and bright!

Rich dark mahogany. I'll have the classiest shop on the block.

I’ve been collecting old parts for a while now. When I have some free time I’m going to start painting nose art.

That's cool, Varmint!

Been slim pickens for me lately.

Did get this nice roll of plastic mesh left curbside. It's the nice stuff too.....:p

Left curbside in my Mom's neighborhood today. I was heading over there to drop off provisions for her.

Will make some kind of decoration with it.

Nice and clean - no wax on it to mess up my new bedliner...:D

F-15 belly tanks. $500 in town. Hard to resist. But what do I do with them?

Bargain. You don't need to do anything with them.

Imagine the mileage you will get. Beer in one hand explaining they are off a F-15...

Not quite as impressive, but I've got my eye on four big sheets of aluminium to add to the junk pile on the front lawn. I'll know in a week if I win the auction.

Scored a free kayak and all the accessories...the owner just wasn’t using it anymore. Nice fiberglass boat and wooden paddle.

I would cross cut a little below the bottom of the logo and make an outdoor chair out of it . If the dimensions are right that would make a cool chair back .

tevake 04-21-2020 05:26 AM

That's a pretty cool logo and slogan on that board Baz.
On Kauai there are board noses used as house number signs at the roadside all over the place.

Cheers Richard

Very creative idea, Rick. Thanks. It would be too uncomfortable for me though. I have sling chairs and they are the shizzle!

Aloha Rick.....

Yeah I bet there's no shortage of pieces/sections of boards from so many being snapped by the powerful waves!

Good idea to use for house numbers.

Not sure what I will do but will give her a final resting spot of honour, dignity, and respect, wherever it ends up! ;)
