I was just kidding but thanks for letting us know anyway, Vern. That's a pretty good deal!

Check out these bad boys I picked up today for free.

Got a stain on one of the cushions - probably removable with a little elbow grease. Everything in good shape otherwise....even the crucial part on the swivel rockers....the pivot under the seat is in great condition. Nice thick comfy cushions as well. I like the red color too.

I picked up an EZ UP Eclipse canopy frame off CL - free.
Perfectly straight, nothing bent. This is the heavy duty one.
Got it home, unfolded it. It's 8x8, not 10x10, my canopy is way too big for it. Oh well, it only cost me time and a little gas.

Five years ago I helped an acquaintance that was hard up move, for my effort and 180 I bought the GE Stove and Roper (Whirlpool) 23.5 Cu ft Refer from him . I finally sold the Stove this week for 100 a few hours after I put it up for sale on FB.. I probably could have gotten a few more $$ out of it, but I wanted it gone without a lot of hassle.

So I got a virtually new Roper refer that I have been using for 5 years for $80. It keeps stuff real cold and is fairly cheap to run.. that has turned out to be a pretty good deal.

I was surprised on how fast it sold on FB... up and gone in 8 hours..

And the plus is that I didn't have any Ebay BS to deal with..

I think a lot of the cheaper appliances are backordered. I know at work we put some small desks on "Offer Up" and all 10 were gone in an hour. Homeschooling and lack of inventory was the reason.

Been looking for this lightweight outboard for some time. Popped up on FB marketplace. I was there in 20 min to pick it up. Guy said he got so many hits he couldn't count. He was moving... it weighs 12 lbs. 2.7 hp. Twelve pounds!

Fitted it on my kayak and small dinghy... runs like a dream. $300

Neighbor across from me diagonally has had her house for sale for a while She has garage sales periodically.

This weekend she had this bike out but no one wanted it so she left it for the G-men to pick up today. I grabbed it about 15 minutes before they came.

Everything works and the wheels and tires are in good shape.

Chain is rusty but still working oddly enough.

It's a Pioneer 'Commuter' made in the USA.

Ladies bike but might still work as a disposable beach cruiser.

I hate to throw anything away. I put stuff that someone might want up for free on CL. I get rid of a lot of stuff that way - probably saved $100 in dump fees.
Today I posted these balusters that I took off my deck when I remodeled it.
This one is really iffy. I don't know it they'll have any value to anyone or not.

In 24 hours I got 5 people wanting them. They’re gone - and I don’t have to pay to leave them at the dump.

More scores today. This time in my Mom's neighborhood.

2 rugs, a stereo, and stereo cabinet.

Will open up the rugs tomorrow and see how they look. Was going to just use them in the garage anyway so they don't need to be super nice.

I have a couple inside my home I'm planning to pressure wash this week. I talked to a Stanley Steamer tech and he said that's how they clean them at their facility (area type rugs).

So I will give it a try.

Haven't tested the stereo yet. The cabinet is in really nice condition.

That Sony stereo was defective. Only 1 channel worked and the tape deck didn't work. G-men took it away today.

Picked up this nifty little table today. Glass top so maybe good little potting table?

Got lucky today-a set of retracting screens for french doors and a single door one as well, with all the track and hardware. Removed by po for a painting project and were too much for her to reinstall. Needed the french door set for my entry doors (have normal screen doors on another set of French doors that are little used), but wasn't going to pay the $400 retail for them.

PIcked up this 300 lb olympic barbell set at another yard sale for $25!

Those weights are the deal...the prices on CL have been insane since Cov-19 closed the gyms.

Fitness gear is still at insane prices right now. Academy advertises their 300 lb set for about $210, but they've been out at every store I've tried since March. My wife was actually buying kettlebells at Dollar General and flipping them for twice the money.

I bought these Bowflex adjustable dumbbells and rack for $280 just before the pandemic took off. I've seen this same setup go for $1,000 on eBay. It's madness what people are getting for gym equipment right now.

I picked this up at the weekend. A glass vase, about 7.5" tall, weighs about 12lbs!
I noticed it looked quite attractive and the design was made with glass within the glass and in several different layers to produce a three dimensional effect. I also noted the maker's mark in the glass and the engraved initials and date. Worth $6 of my money I thought.

Turns out it's a vase by Orient & Flume, a very collectable art glass maker out of Chico, CA. This piece was made there in 1985 by John DeWit, a Panamanian artist who now based in the Seattle area. The technique is called encased glass and it's basically painted into the molten glass with colored glass rods by my understanding. This design is called 'Star Flower'. It's DEFINITELY worth the $6 I paid and probably at least 100 times that!

Nice piece of artwork there Aerkuld. I've done a few art classes in glassblowing so I can recognize something great when I see it.

$100 got me the Snapper and the string trimmer. Both work as they should. I have a thing for the old snappers and I needed a new seat for the old one. The seat is perfect and it happened to come with a mower and trimmer.
