Picked up two LT265 70r18s from separate sellers. One on FB marketplace and the other on Kijiji.
New takeoffs. Wrangler SRA load rating E. Will let you know if it really was a score once I have them mounted up! :) The older fella I had purchased the truck from had a rather large 5th wheel trailer and being a SRW 1 ton the tires were a bit worn. They are still OK but would rather have something with a fresh bite on the back for the winter months. |
Twice a year there's a city-wide yard sale in the little town of Needville. Been going to that for about 30 years. It never disappoints. Picked up this Victor cutting rig for $100. I already had one, so I sold it on FBMP for $500.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1634131624.jpg The guy helped me load it up then said, "Hey, I have a plasma cutter if you're interested. It's a "thermos" brand or something." I thought Hypertherm?!? So, yea, I'm interested! Bought this Hypertherm Powermax 30 Air for $300. I already had a Thermal Dynamics and don't do much cutting, so I sold it on eBay for $1,400! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1634131822.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1634131839.jpg |
I have a general rule that if I see Hilti, I buy Hilti. Paid $2 for this Hilti remote. Actually, I don't even know what it does. I sold it on eBay for $160 though.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1634132601.jpg Paid $5 for this Hilti ramset-type gun. I got two of them. Sold one for $150 and the other for $170. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1634132699.jpg Bought this Hilti 24VDC drill for $50. Two batteries and the charger. It'll torque down any Milwaukee or Dewalt out there. I'm keeping this one. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1634132790.jpg |
Two 125cc chinese pocket bikes on fb marketplace for $50. Almost enough parts to put them both back together but if not i can make something awesomer out of the parts. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1634166843.jpg

Was doing some work here at my house today and noticed a set of shelves curbside at the neighbor caddy-corner, so walked over and brought them back here. A little dusty and a couple boards loose but otherwise in nice condition and I like the style of these.....

Went to a few garage and estate sales this morning . Scored six 10" carbide tipped saw blades in original unopened packaging . All are 60 or 80 tooth for $25.00 total ! Also four ratchet straps still in the package for $5.00 . I was happy 😊

You made me get off my fat a$$ 😊 to get this pic . There are two 40 tooth and two 60's and two 80's . Probably more blades then I will ever use but for $4.16 each hard to pass up . |

Now how about those ratchet straps? :) |

I think you miss counted. That one bonus pack is a 40 + 80.

Can't beat that. |
I don't know what the cost is to resharpen blades but it has to be more than 4.16 per blade . I have a table saw and mitre box that can use the blades . It's all good 😁
|
Be careful and don't burn yourself when you touch them.
|
Yeah you should be happy. You made out like a bandit on those blades.
I bought my brother some new blades a couple years ago for his new chop saw. They were not cheap then and more now I imagine. |
