My other good deal of the weekend was this Milwaukee deep cut, worm gear bandsaw for $25. And as I was leaving I saw the guy had one of those acetylene pony-size bottles. I asked if it was for sale and he just says go ahead and take it! He’s a plumber and doesn’t sweat many joints anymore what with the push on type fittings.

Going to try to find another 17Z and use those on the front of my Legacy GT. Rears will go on ebay. :)

Just under $200. Estate sale. I haven’t taken any pictures of her new dresser. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1645407295.jpg

$32 new in box off an internet auction. Add about $15 for gas to pick it up.

It has some interesting plastic trim pieces - “Showcase” and “65th Anniversary”. I’ve never seen those before. It’ll need a clean and paint job, but whatever! It’s Snap On!

Now that is a score..

cmccuist 02-21-2022 12:46 AM

Yea, I was pretty happy about that one. Also, there were two Snap On sockets in one of the drawers. The guy cleaned out most of the tools, but he didn’t have the key and there were still three drawers that were locked shut. So there may still be some treasures in there.

For the spoon lovers !
Yesterday I scored a Dillon 550C progresive reloader. In like new condition. Along with all the accessories for 9mm reloading. A chronometer, scales gauges, dies, powder, 800 new casing, 1000 used cases (already cleaned) 3000 primers, and...are you ready....3000 hollow point rounds. Also included was a competition rig.

$600 !

cmccuist 02-21-2022 01:18 PM

Well, there is no ammo shortage at skytrooper’s house! Well done!

Skytrooper 02-21-2022 01:27 PM

Nope no shortage here ! I already had 2000, but it will go fast as soon as competition season starts here.

That's a great score. This is similar to what it can look like after restoration:

I've got a buddy that owns a Metal Painting company. He uses PPG paint. He did the paint matching to the original color. There are some threads over on the Garage Journal forum about the paint code. Below is the before:

Good score!

At a place where I worked they asked me if I'd like a portable fax machine that was no longer wanted. I said sure and thanks. I threw the fax machine away and kept the pelican case for the pistols.

berettafan 02-23-2022 02:23 AM

More Volvo info please! Love that car!
