Freebie - but this time was given to me by a good friend who was freeing up space at his factory. He has surfboards that end up left behind all the time so periodically has to do a cleansing.

This one a sample by a local artist showing off his airbrush skills.......

Before and after washing off all the dust......the fourth photo shows the other one he gave me.......

Are they good boards for getting out and getting salty? Nice score, by the way.

Whoa! That first board looks cool!

I could see that hanging in a bar like the one on Magnum PI, you know, Rick's place.

HobieMarty 02-02-2022 02:43 PM

That endless summer board is way cool!!!

Ha, funny thing is I'm half way through block mounting (framing) an Endless Summer print for in the cabana. The paint is drying as we speak.

With some work, yes. But not the right size for me so they will be used for decor.

I was thinking of hanging it on one of my outdoor decks, so very similar. Thanks, Scott.

Iconic, Bill. I have a 3x5 Endless Summer banner flag I bought a while back. Has some fraying so I took it down. May repair and fly it again one day. Show us a pic of yours, please! ;)

I got this Sharp EL-8 calculator from the neighbors cleanout and just sold it for 250. I had no idea. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1643849457.JPG

This is it here Baz. When the paint has dried on the plywood I'll glue it down block mount style, then I'll spray paint it with about four coats of car quality clear coat so it survives being outdoors.

Thanks, I'll see how it looks block mounted and hung in the cabana.

Bill Douglas 02-03-2022 04:10 PM

It came out alright.

It's Friday afternoon here, so I'l see how it looks when I'm having pizza and pinots al fresco in a few hours time.

Picked up this East German camera from the early 50's.
Putting a roll of film thru it to see if it works.

Since that's got plenty of red isn't it going to fade like crazy?

I know here in TX or in FL it would barely be recognizable in 2-3 years because of the sun.

OK, mostly shielded from the sun.

Taking Mom some provisions this morning and in her neighborhood, someone throwing this away.

The glass is broken - but frame, matting, and print worth saving.

Pretty cool with the tropical garden theme and how about that huge Furcraea in the planter to the right!
