Likely the hutch to a china cabinet - where the base is MIA.

I know here in TX or in FL it would barely be recognizable in 2-3 years because of the sun.

I'm pleased it has survived it's first few days. A filthy storm has hit - LOTS of rain and big winds. I'd give it an expected life span of three months .

Pretty happy about this deal! I saw one of those portable torches on Varage sale, but it was already marked pending. Couple hours later I saw the exact one on Facebook marketplace, so I jumped on it pretty quickly.
I guess the original buyer never picked it up. It actually turned out to be two sets of bottles, two sets of regulators, and two welding torches with hoses. Along with one tote.

Not as good a deal as all the free stuff that follows you home on a regular basis, but I'll take it!

Ha ha - I've gotten a lot more picky lately as I'm running out of room here!

Today's score......two wooden ladders and a large mirror. I might use that taller ladder as an optional way to traverse one of my elevated decks. The shorter one will come in handy for it's intended purpose. ;)

The mirror is in perfect condition - just has a layer of grime on it in the photo.

Shelf unit. Again - sitting at the curb in my Mom's neighborhood. That place has really yielded some quality scores over the years.......:)

Scored a new pair of 255/40/17s, $100 delivered on Facebook Market place http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1645243381.jpg

My wife has been wanting an adjustable bed ........ something about me snoring or some other nonsense 😋 . This morning we went to an estate sale right around the corner from us which isn't easy as we are out a ways .

Anyway when we walked into a bedroom of the house there was a queen size adjustable bed for sale . Made by the local Mattress Bed Factory and built in July of 2018 . It looked perfect with a double sided mattress made of various foams/cotton/wool/other per the tag.

They were asking $1200.00 and they took my offer of $800.00 . It currently is sitting in the back of my truck waiting for my son to show up and give me a hand . I think we gotta great price . I will take a pic when it's set up .

Sounds like a good deal to me. Probably far, far better than the price of a new one.

rfuerst911sc 02-19-2022 10:05 AM

Yeah my understanding is it was well over $3,000 new . Also the company running the estate sale had the mattress professionally cleaned on both sides . Being only 3.5 years old we can get some life out of it .

Voila 😁 one adjustable bed set in place . The grandchildren thought it was great 👍 . I looked online this is the premium mattress that they make . The mattress alone was $1829.00 their website doesn't show the price of the adjustable frame . We'll see how the first night's sleep goes .

Where do you put the $.25 for vibrations 😂

Snagged an Onkyo 7.2 home theater receiver, 2 Polk audio front towers, 2 Polk Audio rear towers, a Polk audio center channel, 8" Jamo sub and 10" Polk audio sub on FB Marketplace for $450. Now my media room has some boom boom.

The neighbor was cleaning out to remodel his house and gave me first pick of the get rid of pile. I got a bunch of junk but among the better things are this tool box and 10 sheets of foam. free http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1645321809.JPG

Hmmmm. Mom just passed and I took apart her electric hospital bed. I wonder if I could put a memory foam mattress on it and use it as an adjustable bed?

rfuerst911sc 02-20-2022 03:04 AM

^^^ I don't see why not , as long as the frame would support the mattress . We slept great last night so it was a wise purchase .

I’ve been a little slow on the trigger lately and have gotten punked on a few deals. Not this time!! Snap On upper, lower, and side piece for $60!!

It has some interesting plastic trim pieces - “Showcase” and “65th Anniversary”. I’ve never seen those before. It’ll need a clean and paint job, but whatever! It’s Snap On!
