Do you floss every day?

Yesterday was the last of three visits to my dentist to have a ton of restorative work done on my teeth. Phenomenal Dr., can't say enough about him, been friends for 20 years now. We were talking about care and he said I should floss every day and that if given a choice between flossing and brushing (I do 2X per day), flossing is more important to get any debris from between your teeth where bacteria love to grow.

So I'm flossing a lot more than my 1X per week now. How often do you floss?

Every night before bed for the past 30 years. Never had a cavity and visit the dentist every 2 years for cleaning. X-rays every other visit.

Every morning.

When I started my "new" job 4+ years ago I had stopped going for my regular cleanings and checks at the dentist. Last spring I had a tooth crack and went in for repairs. The young lady that was cleaning my teeth before the work was performed couldn't believe that I hadn't had a cleaning in 4 years. She finished cleaning and descaling in a very short period of time.
Then they tried to get me in for another cleaning in 6 months......
Flossing works!

every night before I go to bed. It's like exercise, once you work it into your routine, if you don't do it you don't feel right....

I floss twice a day. Have been flossing for the past ten years or so. In the meantime going to the endodontist Monday to assess a molar to see if it can take a root canal or if it has to be extracted. I am paying for my candy eating days in my childhood....

Every morning. I've always had teeth crowding issues, if I don't floss it leaves all sorts of little snacks in there for later. Gross.....

EVERY morning after bkfst and the coffee. No probs with teeth in many years with the recent exception of a capped front tooth that is going to eventually need an implant. But that can't be related to flossing.

Never flossed. Ever. Been very lucky with my teeth. Never had any issues at all. As a matter of fact I have not even seen a dentist for the last 30 years. On the other hand I never eat any sweets, candy, cookies, cake, sweet drinks so I suppose that helps. Probably genetics too. My grandfather had all his teeth with no issues until he died at 96 years of age.

Every day. And I do other procedures to eliminate my bad plaque problem. Plaque in the mouth spread to the blood system and can lead to heart trouble. Bad teeth can actually lead to a heart attack. So I have good teeth.

Everyday, morning and night. I also have a small fortune invested in my dental work.

I was fortunate to trade clothing for his grandchildren for the work done. But will be flossing daily now. Could be something I do in between reps.

This is a combination of great genetics and diet, typical Swede. Have you ever had a filling? I have friends, Scandinavian Americans, with absolutely zero fillings. They do not have a sweet tooth either.

Floss every night before bedtime. I've also become mildly addicted to those plastic toothpicks with the feather sort of thing on one end & the pick on the other. I use them after every meal & lots of times after eating some snack that feels like some of it is hanging around in my teeth.
